Absolute Question and Answer Thread (ASK YOUR QUESTIONS HERE!)

Hey all, just had a quick question about the ring of light on the X360 fight sticks. I just bought a TE Round 2 from the Comic-con promo deal over @Gameshark. Now I’m on the modding stage and was wondering how the inner workings of the leds for the X360 version’s rings are. Are they the same as a normal X360 controller’s leds? Or what? (Btw, I want to make them blue)

Just bought a te stick from mad Katz can someone point me to different tutorials on how to hold the stick and pianoing aNd plinking please!

I going to buy my first stick, should I go with the Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE for 119 or the Street Fighter IV FightStick Tournament Edition Round 2 which i can get for 99 with coupon code round 2 has all sanwa parts right?

will the OBSF-30 Pushbutton also work for the Triple Punch/Triple Kick buttons in a Madcatz TE stick?

the tournament edition is better stick cuz it has all sanwa parts and built better…

yes u can macro the last 2 buttons or any other buttons for 3x punch or 3x kick…

Has anyone made a clear dustwasher for the JLW-UM-8 Stick? or a tuturial on making one on here?

There are a couple threads on people making custom cases here and offering them up for sale. I checked some of the other info friends and found arcade in a box sells configured sticks, but I’m really just looking for an online store that sells empty cases. I remember an ad for one on the main site a while back, but I can’t for the life of me remember what the place was called.

ModChipMan with the CustomCade?
They are no more.

Hey, I have a question about the Hori RAP EX-SE for Xbox 360. When I first played with the stick, whenever I let go of the joystick it would always return to the same spot, right in the center. After playing with it for a few days, though, I have found that now the joystick can be moved around a little in any direction and will just stay where you leave it, instead of returning to the exact center. By lifting up the circular cover at the bottom of the joystick, I could see that the stick itself was moving but the larger part it is connected to was not. Is it normal for this to happen to joysticks? Thanks.

It is called Deadzone.
Normal.

Hey guys I have a really quick question. I’ll be ordering new buttons and a New stick from lizardlick, anyways I’ve been messing with the stock parts specially the joystick. My question to you guys is how can I get the C/E clip off? I’ve been trying for almost 2 hours and still no luck, is there an easy way to do this? like a special tool or something along that line. I’ve been trying with a simple small flat head screw driver.

Could someone guide me in the right direction on removing the C/E clip please.

E-clip is used for Sanwa JLF and what you see in Mad Catz Joystick.
Just use a precision screwdriver to pop it off.

But you say you tried.

For the Seimitsu LS-32(-01), it uses a C-clip.
Use a circlip tool to remove that.

I’ll keep trying since I really want to know how to mess around with all the parts for future reference.

Lastly Is there any differences between Snap-in buttons and the screw-on buttons? Since I know that the SE has issues with a screw-on button on the Light kick button (not enough room for it). As of right now I’m buying 5 OBSN and 1 OBSF.

Only difference is how the Buttons secure.
Everything else is the same.

alright thanks.

i need a way of making my 360 te round 2 into a universal ps3/360/PC stick. I have no idea what to buy for this.

Head to the trading outlet. Lots of capable folks offering services to dual mod your stick.

The stick at the very bottom (LSX-57-01), what the hell is that used for?

Custom grip handles I’m guessing?
