Yes, open the screws on the bottom.
Remove the plate.

Then use 7mm socket wrench to remove the things inside.
The remove the top plate.

Well, I don’t have a 7mm socket wrench so now I’m stuck. Sigh I guess this will have to wait until some other time. I’ll pm you the pictures or something as soon as I can get one…

Edit: Sent you a friend request so that I don’t forget who you are.

Ok I’ve searched a lot but I didn’t find the answer.
Hope this is the right place to ask

I bought a TE arcade stick R2 and i want to know which kind of setting i must use under the “controller type” setting in SSF4?
cos I saw this video:

In which they use fightstick but they use the option “controller” under the “controller type”

hope U got the question, sorry but English is not my language.

Hey everyone I need some help. I’m planning to get sanwa buttons for my hori real arcade pro ex-se. I’m wondering if it would be a simple swap. Because I tried to rearrange the button originally, and I had troubles swapping them. I think it was quick link. I didn’t want to put extra force pulling it. Which sanwa buttons would I need since there are a bunch of sanwa buttons and I don’t want to add any extra work like soldering and such.

All Sanwa Buttons that are 30mm that you see on websites will work.

Would it be possible to use my TvC stick for supercade/other web gaming by connecting with my bootcamp’d macintosh via bluetooth or something? Or do I need a PS3 stick?

@jdm714 I finally opened my HRAP3 that is supposedly dual modded. The seller told me that it should work for both my PS3 and 360. It works fine when playing on my PS3 but my 360 wont recognize it at all. Sorry for the blurriness on the second picture. My camera sucks. I got ripped off right ?

Wow, I only see the HRAP 3 PCB.
There is no Xbox 360 PCB.

Are you showing me everything?
Not leaving anything out?

Pretty sure I’m showing you everything. Here’s a wider picture just in case. I am a total newbie when it comes to this stuff.

Not Dual Modded.
That’s not cool.

Complain to her?
I don’t know what you can do.

Sigh Oh well, thanks for the help. At least I didn’t overpay for it…
I guess I’ll have to learn how to mod and do it myself one day.

Are you in the same state? I would take them to small claims court. Not worth it financially, but if you have free time it might be good practice dealing with the court system in case you need to sue some one for real.

Yes we’re in the same state but it’s not worth it. I’ll just have to be smarter when making a purchase next time. Thanks anyways guys, the stick is still in a good condition. I payed less than a brand new stick from Hori or Amazon.

Man, I’m sorry Harvey.

Don’t worry about it dude. I got over it pretty quick. I’m just trying to get good enough to go to EVO one day(get my a** kicked). Man, adjusting to an arcade stick after using a pad for so long is so hard. I have to learn how to play from both sides of the screen because the left side is uncomfortable right now. I have another question though. Is there a button configuration layout that is popular with the SF community? one that would be “easier” to use? right now I have lp,mp,hp,lp+mp+hp on the first plane in that exact order lk,mk,hk,lk+mk+hk on the second plane.
Goes back to throwing 50 hadouken from the left side and 50 from the right

Would have been cool if you got your Dual Mod though.

And that is the Button Layout.
That is how it was, is, and will be.

Well there is no such thing as a PPP or KKK Button.
They do not exist in the arcade.

Street Fighter is a 6-Button game.

Any recommendations for crimping/wire stripping tools? I busted my hands after a hori ex 2 mod (my first mod) crimping everything with a ghetto set of pliers and trying to strip ends using a knife. Was just looking to grab both tools from amazon.

Kinda got good new today. She sent me a message saying that she had two HRAP3 and she thinks she gave me the wrong one. She’s going to check if the one she has is dual modded. crosses fingers

I suggest you get this. Automatic wire stripper and crimper and wire cutter all in one.
Amazon.com: Irwin Industrial Tools 2078300 8-Inch Self-Adjusting Wire Stripper with ProTouch Grips: Home Improvement
The red one, while cheaper, the handles eventually fall off. I have that one.

Are there any suggested ways to clean your stick? After prolonged amounts of play, mine will get crud on it, presumably from sweaty hands [ewww…]
