Where can I buy iL pushbuttons in the US?
Lizardlick has the iL stick, but only sells the P1/P2 iL buttons.
They sell standard iL buttons as āHapp / iLā because most people still recognize the Happ name. Theyāre made in the same molds as the old Happ buttons, soā¦
Be warned that iL buttons will not fit in most joystick cases, including but not limited to every hori and madcatz stick.
The HAPP buttons come with E-Switch microswitchs. The iLās come with Cherrys. I very-well could just buy Cherry switches, but that would add quite a bit of cost that I would like to avoid.
Iām also very aware of the mounting differences between American parts and Japanese parts.

The point where the cord leaves the inside stick (just just just above the fat part ) is ripped. It isnāt ripped off, but itās ripped so much that itās not working anymore which sucks. If anyone can tell me how to repair this, that would be awesome.
What stick are we talking about? Your best solution is going to be re-soldering a new cable to the pcb.
I only glanced at it the first time and it didnāt look right, but I was able to get it after I gave it a good look. Thanks for the help though
I just got my first fighting stick, itās the āSā TE Madcatz one and I wanted to ask thisā¦
When I got it the ball top and shaft were off, then I just built it and I wonder if the ball is supposed to spin so much, it spins effortlessly and it bothers me a bit, but maybe thatās the way itās done.

It spins with the Shaft.
That is how Joystick is made to be.
The shaft and ball should spin together. There shouldnāt be any relative motion between the two.

Hello, I just bought a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 stick that is supposedly dual modded to work on PS3 and 360. I think I might of gotten ripped off because itās working on my PS3 but not my 360. Am I doing something wrong when connecting it to the 360? are there any button presses Iām suppose to be pressing? I donāt have a fighting game on my 360 but I assume that you can control the dashboard with the stick.

I donāt know how the person Dual Modded the HRAP 3.
There can be a physical Switch (DPDT) you have to switch to make go Xbox 360.
Or could have used an Imp, then you would have to hold the Home while plugging into Xbox 360.
Not every Dual Mod is the same.
Or even work the same.
Can you cut the wiring on the JLF wiring harness?
Just curious because I donāt want to cut and strip it and it turns out Iāve screwed it up.

Argh, I hope this stick I just bought is dual modded. It has signs of it being opened up. I have no idea of how to make my 360 recognize the HRAP3.
@Jdm714 Thanks for the suggestions. I tried holding down the home button while plugging it into the XBOX 360. I think I just got ripped off but any other alternatives you can think of will be great for me to try.
Just have to look at the inside.
If there are two PCB, then it is Dual Modded.
