Absolute Question and Answer Thread (ASK YOUR QUESTIONS HERE!)

Just a quick question regarding the IMP, if I set up my TE like in Bomberman’s tutorial, with the Cuthulu as the master and the origional PCB as slave, from what I can tell I have to hold the guide button for 360 functionality. So far so good? Anyway, what I want to know is will that effect my use of the guide button’s normal functions in bringing up the guide and powering up the console?

As an aside, why is it recommend to set up the IMP in that way? The tutorial said it was for multi console play, but the other cables hook up directly to the MC Cuthulu, don’t they? So why would that even matter?

I think I’m down for the manuel labor bits, I’m just not too framiliar with the whys and hows of this job.

Using an arcade stick for the first time ever, just got it today. I have the Tekken 6 wireless HORI. Is it considered a good stick? Can anyone point me to videos or whatever of how to hold the stick with my left-hand? What about modding - is there a newbie FAQ? Please and thanks!

Trying to play 3s on supercade.

.NET 3.5 SP1 and Internet Explorer or FireFox 3 with the Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant add-on required.

This comes up. What does that mean?

I think it means you need .net Service Pack 1, and you need either of your internet browsers to support the .net framework. Go to Microsoft.com and find the downloads, then just download and install  Let me know if you encounter any issues.

My Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK Joystick has a problem with my left and right directions. After I allow the joystick to return to the neutral position the directions stick sometimes. If it helps my setup is a modded SE. Any tips?

I ordered some of these nubytech 15th anniversary street fighter pads. Does anyone know if these labels are correct? I posted it in the padhacking thread but hopefully it’ll get more view here.

@ Kelter Skelter :
From slagcoin.com it looks like you labeled them correctly :

Is your Switch not on DP?

I swear I didn’t see that picture on slagcoin, I feel like a dumbass.

thanks a ton though!

Still not working.

I downloaded both things. Would I need to use the IE or FF browser? Because I am using Safari (Yeah I know. XD)

I don’t think it was @ the time. I will check when I get home, but I will keep it on DP like an S-Rank Ken player from now on. lolz

I’ve never used Safari. Try using IE or Fire Fox.

Well I downloaded firefox. Downloaded both things. Comes up with the same error. -_-

Just wanted to get some input. Would it be possible to gut/mod a Xbox 360 controller shell to have a PS2 dualshock PCB? Was curious if it could be done or not.

Hey guys, what size wire and QDs do I use for something like the Sanwa OBSF-30s? I ran out of the wire and the spool didn’t have any label notifying me what type of wire it is…

.110" Quick Disconnect.

Wire depends on what the Quick Disconnect is made for.
Get for 22-18 AWG; those are the red ones.

I have been searching the forums but I cannot find the answer to such a simple problem. (I feel part of the reason is that this is now common knowledge).

What size alan wrench (I think I saw hex key in some posts) do I need to open my the top of a TE stick? Also is the TE-S any different (in terms of opening it up).

3mm.
No.
