just look, there are lots on ebay

Can anyone send me the link to where I can download the software for using a Xbox 360 TE on the PC?

It seems to me it would just be easier to solder (or hell splice) those wires into the wiring harness of the JLF. Is there any reason not to?

It should just plug and play as far as I know.

@worm, it is not plug and play

Sorry! Maybe Windows 7 auto installed what I needed or something?

wow theres even a snes to usb convertor…!

seems usb can adapted to like anything now…

PCB is non-Common Ground.

If want to use Wire Harness, then would have to do this:

random question, does the Super Street Fighter IV Fightstick TE S (PS3) have a headset/phones port/jack?

Hey guys, I have an official microsoft 360 pad that i want to padhack for a stick… it has seen better days as a controller but when i cracked it open to check the pcb it looked fine… now i have tried to look around for a tutorial for this but to no avail… all i can find are the tutorials on the madcatz pads which, for me, doesn’t really help since all i have is this one… i did read up on it and learned that the madcatz pads are common ground and that with the common ground setup u can wire all the signals to one ground… Now i know the microsoft pads are non-common ground and cannot share the same ground for the each signal?.. My question now is can i still padhack the Microsoft one? Is there a tutorial that anyone can lead me too? Also would it still be possible to dual-mod this with something like a cthulhu?

None of the TE for PS3 has.
Old or new, none have.

Nope because the ps3 only uses usb/bluetooth headsets.

ok thanks you two.

you can bash me for this so sorry…

I just recently fixed an xbox360 with RROD.

i tried playing Sf4 today and whenever the round starts i get dc’d.

What could be the problem here?

Edit: i am also connected wirelessly.

I want to know if there is any real diffrence b/w the madcatz TE fightstick and the new super streetfighter TE stick? If its a redundant question where do I find the answer?

Yo quick question, i read somewhere that the joystick shafts used for the T6 and T5 are the same size since they’re both hori sticks? Is that true or is it only the T6 that is short? Also is the shafts used on the Mayflash joystick the same for the Paewang Revolution? Reason I ask is because i need to find a shaft with a shorter clearance for a JLF since ill be sticking it in a pretty thin stick… I just wanna consider all my options by knowing the size & compatibilities of these shafts, plus i don’t wanna have to cut a hole on the bottom of the stick as well to fit a regular sized JLF lol. All help is much appreciated =D

@chupa_cabra:
There really is not to much of a difference in my opinion… the only noticeable difference i can see is that the TE “S” has no sides… its like u basically took the regular TE base and took those white wings off… also it has full panel art setup like Arthong’s full panel plexi layout… but ya i can’t really say anything definitive on the internals since i don’t own one “yet” lol but it shud be similar… did some quick seraches for ya:

Does anyone know if a passive USB hub will work for the fightsticks?

is the HFS3 exaclty the same as the EX2 on the inside? If not, what are the exact differences, and be specific as well please. I plan on using a posted tutorial on modding a EX2, but me modding a fs3.

Having a problem with my SE… sometimes.

Every so often my RT/HK button will just shit out and stop functioning. I’ve replaced all the buttons, so I’m thinking it’s a PCB problem. Thing is, it might take an hour for it to kick in, and simply unplugging/replugging the controller makes it work fine again. Sometimes I’ll go days without it happening.

So, is this a PCB thing, or would that be more of a “The button is always broken” thing? I used to have an EX2 that had a similar problem with the jab button. I sold it to someone telling them the PCB was probably fucked, but they said they had no problems with it. Could it maybe be my 360 or the USB cable?

Any insights would be nice.

@Grozlam:
hmmm if its just the RT button thats acting up and you already replaced the buttons, the only thing that i can think of that cud mess with it could be either that the connection is loose (meaning the QD is somehow not making a connection) or the wiring… heres what u can do - check the QDs to the button, check the actual wires (signal & ground), and check the QDs connected to the terminal block… just check those to see if theres like a tear or something wasn’t crimped on right, somethings not plugged in all the way, etc… now from what i can remember about the SE’s track record on the PCB side of thing, its that the whole stick wud either spaz or just completely die… so ya if u continue to play things out and then other shyt starts dying out besides RT or the stick starts doing other random shyt… then it really may be the PCB… good luck with that though… enjoy

Trying to salvage Wii Hori Fighting Stick PCB: Alternate Wiring of Buttons possible?

Alright, so I’ve been getting into modding sticks very recently… Generally speaking, I’m mostly just trying to swap most of my sticks’ stock parts with Sanwa parts.

One of the sticks that I feel very close to completing is one of my Wii Hori Fighting sticks. It’s gone through one stock buttons swap (swapped buttons of a PS3 Hori Fighting Stick, done by a friend of a friend), then later de-soldered by myself in for ultimately converting the stick over to Sanwa parts.

Here’s the PCB of the Wii Hori Fighting Stick:

**The situation: I was able to wire the stick correctly to the Sanwa wire harness no problem and the Home, -, and + buttons still work fine. The real problem right now is the buttons. Most of the buttons parts where I’m supposed to solder look like this: **

Is there any chance of wiring through these and still get the button to activate as it should?

Is it possible to wire and solder each button to this part of the stick instead:

Thanks in advance!
