They are popular with people who play SHMUPS.
Amigos I have a broken Xbox360 TE, I already order the paewang PCB and the wiring harness I have a question about the Turbo and Home button, I think I can use the stock PCB so that I can use both the home and turbo buttons but how is exactly that you need to wire this? I saw on a video that you need to apply a +5v and ground to the circuit from which part of the PCB should I take the +5 V ??? Any help will be appreciated.
*I own a PS3 so I need the home button to play KOF XIII.
Thanks guy! And thanks Johnhandy for the video link. Ordering my octagonal gate today! I’ll give it a try if I don’t like it, I’ll jut put the square back in.
Stupid question no.3
I’m going to be installing a AXISdapter into a PS3 TE stick and want to use the stock ‘Home’ button. I know which point to use on the TE pcb for this, but where do I connect the VCC & GND on the SIXAXIS pcb?
Hey, so I bought an SFxT TE used the other day. Whenever I would do the up directions (7,8,9) in a constant motion, it would disconnect. I thought something was loose, so I opened it up and tried tightening anything loose. However, it did not fix it. Looking online, apparently it is a PCB issue.
Has anyone had this problem? What should I do to try and get it working? Unfortunately opening it voids the warranty, so I probably should have looked online first.
Hello all this is my first post. I would like to commission someone to do some stick art for me. Specifically 2, one for my Madcatz chun li te s and one for my Madcatz SFxT pro. Thank you.
PS. I read the FAQ and couldnt any info on PM’s. I thought i read one needs a certain number of posts to do so.
Hey guys. I just recently really got into TvC. A bit late, I know, but I’m looking to mod my old Hori 360 stick into a Wii stick to play.
I plan on using a Gamecube controller to do this but I’m unable to find any guide on it and I’m pretty much a noob at modding sticks.
Any suggestions or guides that I should look at?
Noob here. Just picked up my first fightstick (the MadCatz SoulCalibur V SOUL Edition). This is going to be a general purpose stick for a variety of games. I hear the soulcalibur stick uses a different button layout than the standard fightstick. Seeing as I don’t even own Soul Calibur, would it be possible to switch the buttons to a more universal configuration. I hear the street fighter setup is slightly different than the microsoft reccomend fight stick button mapping (i’m on 360). What do you guys suggest I do in terms of button layout, and could you point me in the right direction for an amateur wanting to do some simple modding 101.
It’s very easy. Open the top with an allen wrench, and switch around the quick disconnects. The procedure is the same as it is on any madcatz TE or even the SE.
any button layout suggestions? what’s the most common button configuration for fighting games?
My question is in a bit of a different field. I wanted to ask for some advice getting free or possibly purchasing fighting game development software. I am not interested in Mugen whatsoever though. Are there any good once out there?
Noob Here. I was just wondering if wiring a USB cord into a Cthulhu board is as simple as cutting the end off the USB cord and soldering the corresponding wires to solder points? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Yep.
How hard is it to have a plastic part made? I feel like it would be really easy to have plastic nuts that fit screw-in buttons for wood cases without routing. That and a custom actuator to shorten throw/engage for long handled Japanese sticks.
So i bought a paewang and put it in a case of mine.
Was working perfectly fine until today where A and B are being registered as constantly pushed down.
I removed all the wires from the pcb, and made sure to clean any extra solder off of it, but it is still reading that.
Any ideas?
Plastic molds are actually quite expensive.
Known issue with the paewang/ps360 (same board). If I recall there is a solution involving pull up resistors. I can’t remember which thread it was in, sadly.
Dang OK thanks.
Anyone?
You can cut the Traces of the TE Home Button if you want.
Then just solder to wires, then have go to AXISdapter.
Wire to Home Signal on AXISdapter.
Wire to Home Common on AXISdapter.
