thanks, totally forgot about it x)
I’ve been trying to figure this out… but how hard it is to fry your consoles controller port? I;ve heard several stories of people ruining their DC controller port (or even just using one or two retail third party controllers…) Would using a sacreficed PCB pad take care of needed resistors or would the real arcade parts draw more/too much power?
I assume I can use a multimeter to see how much current flows through it, should I just compare that with how much volts the controller port is reported to have? Since all controllers usually share a controller chip inside the console would I need to assume that the voltage needs to be less then the maximum to make sure I can hook up other controller or a future second arcade stick?
It would be great to get an answer for this, I’ve been trying to find out this info elsewhere, but I can’t find it :s.
What’s the ‘best’ way to install a KNsert 1.4 into a OBSF-30 / OBSC-30?
Hot glue?
I used super glue before
hot glue works too
Ok then, glue it is.
Now just to figure out how the rest of the installation goes…
Does anyone have a link to a detailed diagram of the interior of a HRAP3? I’d like to have a diagram of the interior to help prevent me from making any fatal mistakes while swapping out the Hori buttons for Sanwa.
Thanks!

Hello, I’m looking for about 25 feet of white 22 AWG stranded wire. I’m unable to find any in my local area and searching online gives me places that charge over 2x the amount for shipping. Do SRK members have a secret go-to spot for wiring?
On another note, I hear that you can go down to 24 AWG, but reasonably and realistically speaking, what’s the largest wire size suitable for arcade stick wiring? I’m guessing maybe 20?
I just use eBay for wire.
Online hardware specialists for pretty much everything else.
You are gdlk. Found exactly what I needed in seconds from a seller living only an hour away from me.
Hi,
I’m a guy who likes to build fight sticks. I’ve been reading a lot about the MC Cthulhu and I was wondering if anyone knows a reliable place to buy one?
I found this site, but I’m not sure if they’re reliable or not. Can anyone vouch for them?
This is probably really simple but I can’t search find it. If I want images on my buttons how do I achieve this? Clear buttons with images snapped inside? does this work with Sanwa clear buttons?
The images are generally printed, cut, and placed inside the buttons. The way the buttons are constructed (sanwa or seimitsu) the clear ‘cover’ slides over the ‘plunger’ that sits on the mircoswitch. Place the image in between and you’re good to go. Art’s Hobbies will do panel prints with the perforated cutouts for the buttons, or you can print and cut them yourself (someone around here can give you the exact size)
^ thank you very much. I just wanted to make sure I had the right way of getting this done in my head. Glad to know sanwa buttons are fine also.
Umm, I bought the Seimitsu LS-32 instead of the LS-32-01 by accident and am now sitting on it dumbfounded with my TE.
Are there any differences bar mounting plate and that it doesn’t come with a 5-Pin-Connector?
Exchanging cables with the stock PCB seems like a hassle, but if I were to get like a Dual Strike PCB (been planning to do that anyways),
could I just connect the microswitches with separate cables instead of the 5-pin-cable without a problem and without downside?
Or is this all actually really difficult and I’d be better off sending the LS-32 back and ordering a -01 (which is sold out in my country so I’d have to ship it for 14$)?
Was surprised I didn’t really find anything on this anywhere,
was all I found, and I didn’t really understand that (plus I intend to run it on a DualStrike anyways).
