I have another quick question. I was wondering if there is a place where I can order a small amount of joystick grease. It seems my only option is a lifetime supply for a minimum of 20ish bucks.
if I use an xbox pad, should I get an adapter to be able to play on ps3 with my xbox controller, or do i have to get a new controller modded for ps3? I’ve heard that the adapters cause input lag and I don’t think I can deal with that
Is there a guide somewhere showing how to change the buttons on a HRAP V3 SA?
you change buttons on those as you would any other control panel using snap in buttons
you push the tabs in and push the button out
www.etokki.comsells a small tube for $5.00
There are no reliable 360>Ps3 converters at the moment. Learn a new pad (jk).
Short of finding a cheap Madcatz SE stick (uses the same PCB) you might have to padhack a pad and replace the pcb that way. Lots of work. It also sounds like the USB cord could be damaged if it keeps disconnecting. Open up the stick and see if its been worked on before. CLEAR pictures will help us help you.
I can’t seem to pull off the wires connected to the switch
Get a small flat screwdriver to wedge off the Quick Disconnects.
Or use pliers to grip Quick Disconnect to pull off.
So I want to get more into stick modding and such, and I was wondering where a good place to start would be. I have a few extra sticks laying around that I can sacrifice to the cause. I have electronics experience so that’s not really an issue, I just need to get the ball rolling. Thanks.
So, I should grab this for the PCB?

Would this alone (as its the part that is damaged) make my stick able to function again, as well as providing functionality between both the PS3 and 360?
That’s my interpretation on it.
That would work
So just yesterday I was playing on SFxT Pro “Line” stick and out of no where the stick stopped working. Like, the buttons worked just fine, but I couldn’t move anything. Tried switch to Left Stick and Right Stick and then back to DP and nothing. Unplugged it, replugged it and it still wouldn’t work. After a while it started working again, and it just start doing it again, except now my D-Pad setting doesn’t work at all, and the Left Stick one will move me in game, but as you all know doesn’t work through the 360’s menus and things like that. Anyone got any clue on what to do?
Okay, so here is my issue. No current camera so i will try to convey through pics as well as i can.
I am currently trying to put the pcb from this stick into a TvC case:
I soldered all the buttons on and they work perfectly fine:
Well i soldered the stick on like so:
Well when i did that, i keep getting this issue.
The stick reads up, and down, and when i push left and right, it reads as up and down also.

Well i was following this diagram, even thought it’s not the exact same pcb, it’s very close so i thought it would work the same.
after messing around a while, i can’t seem to get any better than this:

If any help, this is the stick im trying to use as well:
The Mayflash 2009 and up PCB is not Common Ground.
Alright, thanks. Easy fix then. Just replaced the mircoswitches. Works fine now.
What size is the screw that goes in the extra hole by the turbo panel on the TE-S?
well, I think I’m just gonna go ahead and dual mod one of my 360 TEs, but can someone tell me what the most optimal method is these days? I’ve heard of TEasy, which seems to be less relevant now, and kitty, and I don’t know what that is. help me out!
any help?
how can i get the top off the brawl stick so i can clean the gunk off? i unscrewed the 5 screws on top and it comes up a little bit but doesn’t come off
There’s some glue holding the metal panel to the plastic, you should just be able to ease it off by pulling them apart.
So I’m having hardware problems with a Madcatz SE. When I bought it, it didn’t seem to work very well. It was basically capable of single quarter circle motions but anything more and it would start skipping inputs. So I decided to buy a new Sanwa stick and this made the issue far better, but it’s still there. In KoF13, when playing as Mia, I can’t super.
The motion is:
:qcb::db::qcf::k:
I can do this:
:qcb::hp::db::qcf::k: and it will trigger, but this requires drive meter.
I CAN do the super raw, but it requires inputting the motions extremely slowly, about a half second, it’s ridiculous. I’ve tried it on a friend’s TE and I can perform the super fine, so it’s not me.
Is it possible this is being caused by the circuit board? Seriously, it feels very off and I don’t enjoy playing the game on my stick.
