I mostly use Gimp too. I’m just working with a Photoshop trial right now. I don’t even know how to change it from pixels on Gimp either though, although I’m sure there’s an option for it somewhere.
Yeah, thanks Zeth. I’m waiting for his answer about the bottom panel right now. So I’ll ask him about this layout too.
I’m not sure if that was directed at me, but if it was, I really liked what TimStuff did with his stick. I was just trying to find a layout that would work well with Blazblue and Street Fighter too.
Honestly though, I don’t know if I’ll go with something like this. I’m just trying to work with it and see if it’s possibly comfortable enough to use.
Im about to start a new project stick and im already forseeing a problem.
I have a HRAP 2 case and I want to use it on XBOX360.
the issue is that there is no place for the home button.
I dont know how ez it would be to cut holes in the case since I would have to go thru more than one layer, and I dont have the tools for such a job.
Im hoping there is away around this problem using only the button holes provided.
I though I remembered hearing about a way you can wire your stick to accept Start + Select as Home…
my madcatz TE has been acting up recently. it doesn’t work when i try plugging it in and turning on my xbox but if i leave it plugged in after playing on a normal controller for awhile the stick eventually turns on. has anybody experienced this/knows how to fix this?
So I just ordered new buttons for my Madcatz SE stick, since I thought it was the buttons fault that Light Kick is only barely working and Medium Kick stopped working altogether. After opening the stick and switching some cables around, it turns out now that it’s neither the buttons’ nor cables’ fault, it seems to be the connector to the PCB that’s not working anymore (at least for Medium Kick). Is there anything I can do? I haven’t found a source for ordering a PCB for the Madcatz SE, can you even get it as a spare part? Or are there any other possibilities I can try?
I tried finding the answer to this question in other threads but i could find nothing.
I am building an arcade stick along with 2 friends. if we use an MC cthulhu pcb and add a ps2 lead. Is it possible to use a ‘ps2 to xbox 360’ converter to play on xbox 360?
It should be fine to just use the original box as long as you cover it in bubble wrap and then a layer of high grade brown paper or parcel plastic wrap. If your customer is particularly OCD about such things then get them to pay for a box to put everything in.
I need to confirm that the MC cthulhu, modded to play on ps2 consoles will accept an xbox 360 converter and will work well
will there be any lag in this (as in the converter?)
I live in the UK, i would like to avoid legnthy and expensive shipping costs from the USA. are there any other converters that SRK recommends that are easily available in the UK?
sorry for all these questions but i need to know for sure about the converter working ok on cthulhu ps2. i got ripped off years ago with converters that did not work and i cant afford to make an expensive mistake on this stick

"RecommendedPS&PS2 to 360 converter (Xtokki****360) by Tinybee: These converters, originally sold through Focalprice, are the best available option for PS2 to 360. They do not require an Xbox 360 controller for passthrough like the others listed below. They are also the only converter to feature a headset jack. They are sold by SRK member laugh. He is the recommended supplier because of Focalprice’s questionable shipping. Analog or Select + L3 for Guide.

The review by Kaioshade as linked above gives specific details in the lag test that he performed with the device.
Laugh at Etokki is located in South Korea so it would be shipping from there to U.K., not from U.S.A. to U.K.
