thanks gahrling
thats a shame, i guess the converter will have to wait till next months pay
does anyone know if the MC cthulhu with ps2 lead will work with a ‘ps2 to xbox 360’ converter relatively lag free

OHHHHHHH THANK-YOU
thats good news
Sorry I didnt see your post at first. Thank You
I don’t see why that would be a problem as the MC Cthulhu PS2 coding is pretty spot on. Though as I have never had the need to test this then wait for some other responses.
If you need an MC Cthulhu board then I sell them and I’m based in the UK. My prices are significantly more reasonable than Gremlins.
ohh dear, i purchased from gremlin last night.
i have two other friends that are building sticks along side me.
i take it your site is neoempire.com
You paid £48.60 for a MC Cthulhu including VAT and postage? Wow…
If you need things in the UK then it’s best to contact me via PM or email, either on SRK, Neo Empire, or Twitter. I have a website in development though no completion date as of yet.
actually wait that was a silly question (neoempire)
do you have an email address that i can contact you on? or do you have a website?
dont think it was that much
although with vat and postage it probably was. it was painfull i will admit that
i thought it was the only place in the uk to get the pcb.
do you sell sticks, buttons, wires as well?
PM me for now. I’m reluctant to post up my email multiple times for fear of spam bots.
It was. Though the pain is slightly lessened if you ordered other parts as well.
Yes. My stock is limited at the moment, but various. I’ll have much more parts in once I finally become ‘official’.
I still dont know exactly where to solder both wires of Brawlpad LT and RT buttons from back of the circuit board. In brawlpad pics theres only one solderin point for both buttons.
And just want to make sure that six buttons (front side of circuit board) has soldering points for each button right? At the moment, ive soldered only one black wire for X, Y, A, B, RB, LB and i think it was the mistake i’ve made.
I need to make some wiring fixes. Almost every buttons has same action in street fighter 4. Home, Start, Select and joystick works just fine.
you can see the trace going to the signal point for both RT and LT… if you are looking at the brawl pad from the back its the upper inside solder point on each trigger… hope that wasnt confusing haha… as for the face buttons on the front side the signal to each is the left contact pad on each button… since its a common ground pcb you can just wire one ground (any of the right contact pads on each button) and daisy chain the rest… you dont need to solder too many ground points… it gets confusing and messy.
I soldered only one black wire in one D-pad point… is it wrong? is it ok if i solder black wire in one of the face buttons?
By black I am assuming you are talking about ground points so if that is the case yes… you can solder as many ground points on the pcb as you like. I am just saying that if you do solder a ground point to the face button you just need one and daisy chain it to the other buttons.
are we speaking actual ground wire or two wires going to each button?
When i tested arcade stick in SSF4 training mode, i noticed that almost every button does same thing. face buttons (6) has 6 wires total. and one black wire going to d-pad ground. i need return wires also? so there SHOULD be total 12 wires for face buttons?
Each physical button has two lines… Signal and ground… Six (or eight) signal lines one for each button…the ground line can be shared so one wire soldered to a ground can connect all your buttons in a chain. you talk about training mode in sf4… Are you setting that each individual button is importing the same thing? Pictures will help.
I grounded 6 face buttons in d-pad… should i change it in one of the face button gnd spots?
Edit. i dont have that arcade stick at the moment but now i remember; each face buttons has two wires. red wires goes to signal, black wires (i didnt chain it) goes all in one gnd spot. that must be the reason why every buttons has same move?
anyone?
That sounds like you mixed up the signal and ground…that is why all buttons do the same move…you soldered the ground individually and connected all the other wires to one signal point…
You have the red acting as ground and black acting as signal…you soldered them to the wrong spots on the pcb
Is there any way to fit a Korean Joystick ( http://etokki.com/Myoungshin-Fanta-stick-Green ) into a TE. I’ve heard that if you get the Full plexie glass( the one that completely covers the TE) then you can fit it in.
I have no idea where to go about my arcade stick problems. So I will ask my question here.
My Hk and all three kick button on my stick will randomly stop working, what gets it to start working again is unplugging the stick and plugging it back in.
This is problematic when I am in the middle of a match.
Can somebody tell me what they think might be wrong
