Hi again !

As I want to build my own stick, i’m looking for a nice PCB : Of course I want to have PC-PS3-XBOX 360 support, so the Cthulhu could be a good choice but I hoped to have also PS2 support if possible. The thing is that I’m fed up with waiting for Akihabara PCB360+ since it’s delayed again and again since last september and I don’t want to wait anymore to build my stick… So Is there any other good PCB, that works well I mean, which has PC / PS3 / XBOX 360 / PS2 support ?

Otherwise I’ll go for a Cthulhu PCB.

The MC Cthulhu has the multi console support, it only lacking is Xbox 360 support which you can add a Xbox 360 PCB and dual-mod the stick.
Most people recommend a Mad Catz PCB for the XBox 360 support. Out of the Mad Catz PCB’s the Street Fighter or WWE Brawl Flight Pads are the easiest to hack for a dual mod.

So there are no PCB that support PC / PS3 / XBOX360 without dual-moding ?

Generally, it is recommended that you screw with a wooden panel. However, there are less colors for OBSN then OBSF, so I could understand wanting to Snap.

One thing you can do is have screws holding in a plexiglass cover, and then using snap in against the plexiglass. Usually, screw ins are holding in the plexiglass, but in this case, the plexi will hold in the snap-ins.

Ah OK. It’s not so much the colors as it is I’m not capable of routing nor anyone else I know. That plexi sounds like the best solution though. Thanks!

i got a Hori Fighting Commander Pro PS3 Controller and GTMax Controller Converter Adapter Cable so I could convert to Xbox 360 if the place I’m at requires it. But it doesn’t seem to work when converting to the 360…

I used to have that shitty converter (it’s pretty cheap though) and it didn’t work with PS3 controllers for me… only PS2.

You also need a wired xbox controller (it must be the old school wired ones, the charge-kit wired ones won’t work) to synch the PS" controller to the xbox.

yeah i kept playing around with it, ps3 controllers dont convert to 360 but 360 wired controllers work on ps3. I guess I will either get a ps2 controller or a 360 specific pad

It is good enough for some of the top stick builders on this forum to use it in some of there stick builds.

Note it only does Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

If you want to add PS2 functionality you going to dual mod something into there
MC Cthuhlu + Xbox 360 PCB
Paewang + PS2 PCB
PS3 PCB + PS2 + Xbox 360

There always
PS2 PCB + a XBox 360 adapter and a PS3 adapter

Or Project boxes with a different PCB in each box

I have a Madcatz TvC Stick and I wanted to mod it for xbox 360. I also have a xbox 360 TE board lying around (excluding the Turbo Panel). I know this can be a simple swap, can I use the exsisting wii home button for xbox 360 home button? What additional wiring do I need to do? I’d rather not drill a new hole for the guide button.

See the sole board in the TvC Wii stick is the main PCB, so you have 2 solutions, dual mod this board with a Xbox 360 board or replace the Wii board with some pref board with tac switches replacing the old contacts.

And when i said a Dual mod, you don’t have to connect all the signal lines, but you will need to connect the board to power and ground so the Wii board do not send false signals. You can solder to the home button, by finding some trace going to the home button, clean off the solder mask (green stuff) from the trace and solder a thin wire to it. You only need 1 wire for home as your also adding a ground. You also need a way to jumper the joystick switch on the Xbox 360’s TE board to select between LS, DP and RS.

I don’t think that the TvC turbo panel will fit in the TE’s turbo panel. Same problem with SE and Brawlsticks.

this a good start for your modding questions… remember that you need a pcb with a microsoft security chip to work on the 360…

   AXISdapters are not your only option though. If you would prefer a wired stick, you can use a PS3 Cthulhu or MC Cthulhu, and you wont have to use a SIXAXIS like you would with the AXISdapter.

You mean aside from getting an experienced modder to do it for you?

Just practice your soldering and wiring on a broken radio pcb or similar till you move on to the real deal.

The following is the pinout for the Fightpad so the button signals will be in slightly different places. Just look at the Brawlpad shell as a guide.

No, I’m just curious is there available any “special stuff” for brawlpad (like axisdapter for sixaxis pcb). But if not, it’s cool. Soldering is not a problem.
