I was thinking about that, but then I thought about the amount of red would take away from the blue accent in the art template, so I decided to go with a blue bubbletop joystick. So alternation between the pushbuttons?

Right, a blue bubbletop works too.

You could try a zigzag of red and white, or switch around the plunger and body.

thanks. I’ll be sure to put up the finished product when I’m done. I should have all my parts by Monday. And I hope to finish it by then.

can I replace the board in my SE with Cthulu + IMP and still be able to map the turbo buttons? (will probably make a new hole for home)

No, Cthulhu does not have Turbo.

Hey guys i just bought a macbook pro 13" and i was wondering if anyone here has ever installd ggpo to a mac os. If you please lend me a hand to figure how to exact download ggpo correctly to the laptop. I m still trying to adjust to the laptop myself, its very different to pc.

hey guys, does anyone know the size specs for the sfIv TE stick? i’m looking to build a stick myself but model the size of the TE stick minus those ugly angled sides. thank you much : )

to run natively use crossover. to run in windows simultaneously use virtual machine like fusion or parallels

voltech had a thread on this i looked at his forum threads and looks like he deleted. just pm, he has the exact dimensions

You got to excuse me but i have not the slightest clue what crossover is. Is it download program and is there a tutorial online that takes step by step on how to download ggpo and crossover. Thanks for all the help in advance.

Any tips on desoldering? I have the Desoldering wire etc, but it doesn’t seem to suck very well. Where is a good spot to place it etc.

Have u tried doing this?~Place the desoldering wire on top of the point u want to desolder and then place the hot iron on top of that… basically sandwich the desoldering wire in between the contact point and the iron. If it still doesn’t work the way you want, you can always try out a desoldering pump.

Ahhh ok, so thats what I was doing wrong. I was melting the solder then just putting the wire to the solder.

Thanks

Hey the buttons in my SE stick are getting kinda unresponsive, they might be a bit loose i think. I was wondering if tightening them up would help,or is possible. Just as a temporary fix before i get new ones. Thanks for any help

To my knowledge of the SE buttons, they are generally known to be of crappy quality since they’re Sanwa clones and so if they are becoming unresponsive its probably safe to say its lived out its gaming lifespan. As far as it being “loose” or “tightening” them, Ive never heard of such a thing since these things are snap-in buttons and have really nothing to do with button inputs. Your best bet is to replace them for better quality buttons like Sanwas or Seimitsus since those things last you forever and a day. Hope that helps.

Any tips on removing the start and select buttons on the TE when the tabs are unluckily positioned at 6 and 12 o’clock? Both buttons even. I think somebody at Madcatz did it on purpose. heheh I know…just my luck huh? I tried using the hex key/allen wrench to push the tabs to no avail so finally just gave up. I would just bust them out of frustration but my intent was to use the white rings and swap out for black plungers. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
