Absolute Question and Answer Thread (ASK YOUR QUESTIONS HERE!)

Yeah, it’s set to Point of View Hat, just checked. You use mayflash with the stock parts or new ones?

I modded it with Sanwa, but even when it was still stock I never had any issues that wasn’t a fault of my own doing when it came to execution errors.

Well I am certainly having problems with the stock parts but it’s tough saying who’s fault is it. I am running the stick on Windows 7, which shows BSOD if I use the drivers from the mayflash website, so I let Windows detect the stick and it did and installed. It cannot be my execution error as sometimes I have noticed that even after taking my hands off the stick, the character still keeps moving and throws a punch in the end, after that I can continue using it and it works properly. So damn weird.

Hello to My Pal and Sweetie Kyle.

Yes, yes I do have.

@gauravraw

Use the Vista drivers on the Mayflash CD, those work on my PC with Windows 7.

Are the SE JLF Clone screws, the same as the normal JLF’s?

Yes, but they strip easier.

Thanks. I knew you’d have it.

what can i use to grease up my joystick’s pivot cylinder on my se? I soldered wire on the pcb from the micro-switches to the 5 pin connector to by pass my damaged pcb board. It was damaged by the washer moving around. So i disassembled the stock se stick and completely removed the washer, stretched out the spring and trimmed the spring cover so it could rest flat after the removal of the washer. Stick feels so much more better sadly throughout the process of cleaning i removed the grease. So at times the stick feels rough and squeaks when using it. I was wondering if vasaline would work or something lol.

ty, jdm ~

where can i get heart pushbuttons?

Sanwa OBSA-P45THA.
Ask TheRealNeoNeo (Per) of AkihabaraShop.jp for them.
You can also ask lizardlick (Chad) of Lizard Lick for the buttons.

Heh, hadn’t seen those before. Have you seen any customs with them jdm? I like the star buttons as well.

Bit of a question here.

What are the mod options available between Seimitsu and Sanwa 30mm buttons (screw-in type)? Like is it possible to put a Sanwa microswitch into a Seimitsu button? Exchange plungers? Shafts? Etc.

I ask because my goal is to get a transparent rim with a Sanwa plunger (I prefer convex to flat tops) with a Sanwa microswitch.

In addition, how difficult is it to fit RS-SG switches into a TE Stick?

seimitsu ls-33 for medium ls-55 for hard

Where can i purchase this. I can’t seem to find the 33. How is the feel of putting a ls-55 spring into your jlf?

thank you jdm714 i emailed the realneogeo. it was the first place i thought of, but no reply. i will ask lizardlick for the part. thanks again

Yeah, it’s cool I figured out the gamecube one. But the Dreamcast one I’m pretty sure the triggers are laggy but I’m just gonna leave it. Reason why I ask is that I have a pcb for DC with 2 grounds and it just sucks swapping this thing out and putting it back in haha. I think I’m just gonna leave that PCB in my stick for a long time =)

Just wanted to say thank you for all the help you and manman? ( I’m pretty sure that was his name) have given me. Still haven’t finished my stick yet (can’t afford buttons) as soon as I do though, I’ll let you know =).

I dunno if this is the right place to ask but…
I’m trying to get GGPO to work. Everything works untill I go to play someone.
I can watch matches and stuff.
When I try to play someone, it just sits on the “Connecting to server” screen for ages and they just leave.
Any help?
