So I connected a USB directly to the Paewang and works accordingly… must be my RJ45 connections. back to re-wiring… yaay!
You can play with it a long time, or you can look into cutting the spring, detailed in this thread: http://shoryuken.com/f177/easy-happ-light-spring-mod-229341/
Does anyone know of a plexi-less solution of printing artwork for the TE? So that it’s inline with the bezel? I tried GameOnGraphix, but I somehow don’t want to pay $65 (thanks to the shipping being $30+ to the UK at the lowest shipping they offer) for an artwork print.
So the spring compression didn’t go too well. Are there any other springs I can put in my LS-32-01 that would make the stick a bit softer? I have tried heating it and compressing it with no luck.

Maybe cut off some rings? See the Happ spring mod in my post above.
Does anybody know where to start reading about how to get the LS-32 into smaller cases? (The EX2 is what I’m working with).
I know it needs a dremel, but that is about it.

Realize most of the photos are gone. There’s probably more info, but you’d have a lot to page through. Here’s also this: http://pineconeattack.com/2009/03/07/how-to-mod-the-hori-ex2hori-wii-fighting-stick-with-actual-sanwa-joystick-and-buttons/
It says it’s for Sanwa, but the logic is nearly identical for Seimitsu with RE mounting plate.
Also, use an LS-32, not an LS-32-01, it’ll make your life much smoother.
thanksss nerrage!
An LS 32? Would that fit in a madcatz 360 SE stick?

Yes, but the Madcatz SE has Universal Mounting Brackets, while the EX2 does not. Also, You would definitely want an LS-32-01 for Madcatz SE sticks, because you need an SS-type mounting plate to mount it at the proper height (Which comes only on LS-32-01s, while LS-32s come with flat RE mounting plates), and it also comes with a PCB to connect with the five-pin harness.
However, the EX2 must be modded, so the mounting plate will fit, and it should be flat (Which is nearly identical to the Sanwa flat mounting plate), so the RE mounting plate stocked with the LS-32 would work great. Also, the PCB is a non-common ground PCB, so it wouldn’t even work on the LS-32-01 without some modding of the PCB of the LS-32-01, because the LS-32-01 PCB is intended for common ground PCBS (or PCBs that share a common in the directions, which the EX2 does not). However, the LS-32 does not have a PCB, so it doesn’t need to be modded, because the EX2 PCB can be directly connected to the LS-32’s microswitches, which is much easier than cutting the traces of the LS-32-01 PCB. Plus, the LS-32-01 will have the SS-type mounting plate, which doesn’t really work well, either. So, a plain LS-32 for the EX would be much better.
Good stuff, thanks for the info. I think I will have to get a dremel now lol.

I have searched for a while but I can’t find the answer anywhere. Is the PS3 Tournament Edition PCB common ground?
Yes.
Im thinking of get a arcade cabinet this tax season and was looking at this one…Premium 32 Inch LCD Arcade Cabinet - White Cabinet - Arcade Cabinets - Arcade Video Game Sales by Highway Entertainment any1 from SRK got one of this…seems like a good deal since it has a lagless montior, 2 player control panel, multiple inputs to add a xbox360/ps3 etc, two chairs and a 308 in 1 jamma game board. Any advice or thoughts on this?
Sorry if this has already been asked and asnwered.
I have an ASUS monitor, the one used at EVO, and the speakers on there are very low when I watch movies. I bought computer speakers and plugged that into the back of the monitor and no sound comes out of the speakers. My Monitor is only connected to an XBOX, no computer.
Has anyone come across this problem? Or know how to solve this problem?
Its over $3k and on the other side of the planet. I couldn’t see myself paying that.
You do know you can adjust the volume on the monitor, and that volume also affects the sound that comes out of the outgoing headset jack.
^Yes i do know that. The volume is at max.
Hey Nerrage, I cut off some rings and it worked! I used a pair of pliers to cut it and it works just fine. My new Semitsu LS-32 springs came in the mail so I cut one to make it loose and left the other alone as a back up.
Thanks again!
Yank the audio cables out and test it out with just an HDMI cable. If the volume is too low using an HDMI cable and nothing plugged into the audio jacks, then I think you’re boned outside of warranty support. If the speakers are more reasonable with just the HDMI cable, then recheck your audio input/output with a pair of headphones.
alright, i tried that. It’s still the same. It’s loud when I play video games but if I watch movies, it’s very quiet. But is there a way for me to use the speakers that I just bought?
