Not really, you could if you leaned over a bit.

I don’t think they’re common as I’ve seen hundreds of cabs and none of them were like this.

Does Sanwa make a mini JLF with a shorter shaft and 25mm balltop? I liked these for their throw and lighter feel when I went to Japan and hit the arcades up, and would kinda like to put one into a stick. Seimitsu has one according to akihabarashop’s site (even though they aren’t taking orders now) but I was gonna check on LizardLick and their site seems to be down. I swear I remember seeing a Sanwa-branded 25mm mini on lizardlick in the past but I wasn’t sure.

Sanwa does not make a smaller jlf, but they do make a 30mm mini balltop as opposed to the standard 35

You are probably looking for a Seimitsu LS-33 and also get a 30mm balltop to replace the 35mm that it comes with.

I’d imagine it would look like this.

So Hori VX everyone?

If a lighter stick is ideal get a VX (4.8 lbs) I hear the wrist rest area is nice.

If a Heavy stick is ideal get a TE-S (6.5 lbs?)

Being in Europe, where can I get a decent stick for a decent price? Importing it from the States seems out of the question when I get charged as much as double the price of the thing.

B15SDM,Jutman22!,Jinxz,Broken_English,Bojann… off the top of my head… hit them up with a PM I’m sure they can help you out in that.

for retail I think playasia might be your best bet…

Sounds like a custom cab to me.

Versus City. Astros weren’t dedicated back-to-back cabs.

Acrylic case from Bencao.

Thanks for the advises, but while all of their stuff is impressive, from just looking around here, I was talking about an entry level stick that isn’t garbage; and not too expensive, some stores I’ve seen had SE’s for near 100 euros . Where I live, I can only find the crappy subsonic stick or the Tekken 6 stick edition on retail.

SEs should be the cheapest retail option you have available. If you’re finding SEs near you for 100 Euro, definitely keep looking and do some comparison shopping online because you’ll probably have to put more money into the SE if you’re really serious about using it. For that kind of money you could probably buy a TE or possibly commission a bare-essentials custom stick.

With an SE even if it’s the cheapest option, you may end up putting another ~38-40 Euro into your stick just in custom parts to replace the low-grade stock parts. I play mainly on an SE with aftermarket Seimitsu buttons and a Sanwa stick, it probably cost me 67-70 Euro total. (That’s converted from USD though, so your mileage may vary.)

If you want something that will definitely last right out of the box, a TE will probably be your best bet. The price is a little steeper but you’re getting the best parts available.

^ Whats the difference between this cab.

^ And this one?

The one below is far more expensive, so why are the prices so different and what are the differences?

Can they both run CPS3 games? (3s)

There’s a Dungeons and Dragons cab that looks like this. There was one up on Craigslist the other day.

Dungeons Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara - Videogame by Capcom

Nintendo Playchoice had a vs cab as well

Nintendo Playchoice VS cabinet

and there is always this guy (probably a better answer to the OP)…

WWF Royal Rumble arcade machine

Different models, one may be less used than the other, etc.

Yes, all a cabinet is is speakers, monitor, box, and control panel, all the actual game stuff just comes from the PCB itself. If they have JAMMA harnesses, then it is even easier, though you’ll need some molex connectors to wire up the extra buttons. But I don’t know how it is wired or if it is.

Hey looking for some help with my Sony Vaia laptop. I upgraded from vista to windows 7 64bit (less than legitimate) and now there are several things that won’t get recognized by windows. Most notably are my built in webcam and graphics card. I attempted to download the drivers from both the Nvidia and Sony websites but this solved nothing. I am at a loss at how to get my computer to recognize that there is a damn graphics card inside. Any help is appreciated.

I have a completely un-modded TvC stick for Wii (obviously), and my jab button is only semi-functioning as of the last time I played. Sometimes it is completely unresponsive, and when I mash in the ‘right’ spot of it, it sometimes works or is incredibly delayed. What do I do? I’m willing to tear apart my stick to fix it, or spend a limited amount of money on new buttons or what-not (I’m a poor college kid). Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the stock buttons just running their course. You should check lizardlick.com, akihibarashop.jp, or focusattack.com for 30mm buttons, sanwa OBSF-30s are usually preferred.

But, just to check to make sure it is a problem with the button so you don’t spend what money you don’t have (I know the feel of college, I’m right there with ya), open up your stick, and find the problem button from the back. Then remove the two quick disconnect tabs that are on it, and touch the metal of them together. If it is perfectly responsive, then it’s just the button, replace it. If you can afford it, I’d look into trying to replace all of them, as well as your stick, though the whole deal can cost ~$50. The quality is worth the price for sure, though.

Thanks very much, this is exactly what I needed. I’ll try and find out if it’s the button or not. My stick wasn’t that expensive, I think it was around $80, but having a stick with sanwas would be sick. Since I might be switching to PS3 and getting a TE that I’ll mod for that, idk if I’ll pour $50 into my wii stick, but it’s great to know what to do if I choose to, so thanks again.

Hey guys… Didn’t wanna derail any other threads with this

Rollie buttons? Sanwa microswitches fit in them?
Who makes / sells them?
Been seeing them around on the forum.

  1. Correct.
  2. Yup.
  3. Ponyboy aka Rollie Electronics. Check for the thread in Trading Outlet started by Ponyboy. Should answer anything you might need, although there are less pictures than I would like.
