I would also sugest teflon tape on the threads I’d line the button art up and maybe use a glue stick or something low tack and place that on the back of the art, then place on the plungers.

Alright, my dad did a pretty shitty paint job on my SE stick… How do i get rid of the paint?

Sand it? How long has it been sitting?

2 and a half weeks

yeah, your option is to sand down the case, and repaint. Be careful, the SE is a pretty thin case already.

What are my chances of breaking it?

Its not THAT thin just hand sand it you put that thing through a belt sander your in trouble lol

use a belt sander with 36 grit sandpaper and you will be done in no time.

Hello again.

I have been looking for a bit cheaper sticks, to have one to begin with. Have found this Amazon.com: Xbox 360/PS3/PC Arcade Pro: Video Games: Reviews, Prices & more
but it seems that the gate is square. Will I as a novice(first stick) to quickly like to replace this or is it different from person to person?

I wonder also what kind of gate it is on a Mad Catz SE?

The thing is that I like the Datel because it works on any console and its about $/?25 cheaper then the Mad Catz SE, but would u guys rather go straight for the SE?

really appreciate the responses

Is it possible to sand the paint off with something else besides a belt sander?

Yo man we were joking about the belt sander. DO NOT USE A BELT SANDER… it will eat right through the plastic. Just buy some medium to fine sandpaper depending on how thick the paint is. Do it by hand and you should be fine since you will be able to tell when the paint is off right away.

Hey JDM master of pushbuttons haha. Will a microswitch from an obsf-30 sanwa fit into a ps 14 - k seimitsu? I am only wondering because if I don’t like the feel of the buttons I was just gonna trade microswitches to make then feel like my sanwa :-D. Thanks.

Think I will be able to use an electric sander or something like that to sand off the paint?

Sanwa SW-68 Microswitches fit into 24mm Seimitsu Buttons, and special 30mm Buttons:
Seimitsu PS-14-D
Seimitsu PS-14-DN
Seimitsu PS-14-DN(???)
Seimitsu PS-14-DN-K
Seimitsu PS-14-K
Seimitsu PS-14-P
Seimitsu PS-15

To be safe I would hand sand it. YOu would be able to get away with a mouse orbital sander or something but other than that no.

what kind of microswitches are in an obsf 30?

Figure that out.

And can you fix the Quote of mine to be 30mm instead of 30m?

THIS says that any of the 30mm buttons can switch microswitches?

I don’t know what you want me to read.
But do not listen to any of the FAQ in Tech Talk completely.

Did I make you mad?

Standard Sanwa Buttons; OBSN-30, OBSF-30, OBSN-24, OBSF-24; use SW-68.
There are other Buttons too, but does not matter.
