THats for the info, where can you buy the specific plexi that will fit within the bezel to put over stickart, and at that same place can you get them to print out your stickart as well if you supply it to them?
which is preferred? plexi over stickart or lami-label the stickart? which would last longer? which texture feels better?

For my pushbuttons, is sanwa parts better than seimitsu or are they basically the same?
Seimitsu buttons are very slightly stiffer. Only enough to feel the difference, but still very sensitive. Seimitsu buttons come in more varieties, like the clear ones.
Seimitsu PS-15 30mm or Seimitsu PS-14-G 30mm ? differences? or same?
ok, ive seen people using something similar to these when they build a custom stick
im gonna be building a custom stick in a month or so using a 360 wired PCB, and have seen people who have coiled up the 360 cord inside and then connecting into one of the things in the link above. obviously the one in the pic doesnt seem to have the female USB connection on the other side, so which one is it that id need?
also what kind of wire would go into it from the ouside and into the xbox? ive never ever seen stuff like this as PCs arent my area of expertise so i have no idea what id even be looking for really.
any help would be great thanks!
also im in the UK cant seem to find a UK stocker atm…
PS-15 has convex Plunger.
PS-15 has shorter Body.
PS-15 has curved Rim.
PS-14-G has flat Plunger.
PS-14-G has longer Body.
PS-14-G has flat Rim.
Microswitch of PS-15 is 15mm x 12mm.
Microswitch of PS-14-G is 18mm x 18mm.
The one you linked is an RJ-45 Passthrough.
Here is the Neutrik equivalent.

It is not the one you see people use with USB, unless they terminate a USB with RJ-45.
For Arcade Stick that is one Console, you see people use Neutrik NASUB.
Here is Switchcraft equivalent.

They plug the USB into the USB A end, then other side they connect USB B/A to their Console.
Whats the best semitsu button to fit on a TE and feel most like sanwa buttons?
The only Seimitsu Buttons that can accept Sanwa SW-68 Microswitch are the 24mm ones.
And there are also the special 30mm ones; PS-14-K, PS-15, PS-14-P.
Does this mean a Sanwa SW-68 will fit a PS-14-KN or am I stuck with that? XD
thanks jdm for all the info, im just really worried that the semitsu I might buy will just not be what i expect, i just don’t want them to be that i have to press with alot of force to get inputs and i don’t know how much smaller they are compared to 30mm sanwa, (i.e. are they gunna be too small to doubletap?)
I didn’t type PS-14-KN.
You cannot use 24mm Buttons in TE, except for Start and Select/Back.
I’m swapping out my sanwa obsf30s on my new stick (thank you for the fugly defaults microsoft) and I was wondering just how different the OBSF30-RGs are from the standard 30’s. Does anyone have any experience with these? I’m not so much interested in the durability since the buttons on my original TE are still perfect, but if there is a difference in the feeling (more of a solidness maybe)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I recently made my own stick from a 360 pad and mc cthulu/imp with a rj45 and it is acting weird. This was my first custom stick and when I plug it into a 360, the 4 lights on the 360 light up for a second then turns off. if anyone can help send me a pm or whatever, and if this is the wrong place for this, please pm me and let me know where I should ask.
Post up really clear pictures.
And type very detailed.

It’ll explain differences between the parts manufacturers.
This should be required reading for everybody before they can register at SRK. It explains a lot about the parts manufacturers and even has some tips on what parts can be swapped out between part lines.
In summation, Sanwa pushbuttons are generally more sensitive and responsive than other manufacturers’ 30mm buttons. Japanese buttons in general will wear out quicker than Happs but are rated for 1 million presses before they have to be replaced. I think in general they’re much better than American parts but can’t comment about the Korean Crown buttons. General consensus is that Japanese parts are more sensitive, have better response, and inflict less wear and tear on those of us with small hands. I think the Sanwas feel more comfortable than any other buttons I’ve played with in the past.
24mm buttons generally aren’t used for action… they’re basically Select/Pause, Start, or for Home Buttons. 30mm buttons are what you focus on.
Seimitsu in general has more button options from transparent buttons to Pearl to solid colors. Their sensitivity ranges from light but not as sensitive as Sanwa pushbuttons to roughly the same response as Happ buttons. A lot of people use them as alternates to the Sanwa line because Sanwas are known to react to very light pressure changes.
Happ buttons are generally the least responsive buttons of major lines used but are rated more durable and generally last longer than Japanese buttons. What you get for durability you pay for in lack of sensitivity. Those buttons feel so rigid to me that I generally can’t play with them for more than 10 minutes without my fingers starting to hurt. Stock Hori buttons feel about the same but are known to wear out much quicker.
