I guess thatās the reason why we havenāt seen him in so long. As for Will learning Faust, someone teach him the basics on Faust please. Paul teach JR how to play GGXX with Bridge. Let him learn all his sets and stuff. JC, less of random gravediggers. Last night i wanted to see how your set up was, and that setup might work a few times, but rarely againts top players. Combo, combo, combo. Question with all this talk about posting up our tourneys. How many wants a CvS2, SC2 and GGXX tourney this weekend??? Depending on the turnouts and suggestions, thats how weāre going to decide whatās going to happen. I mean, seriously, if we only have 4 people willing with CvS2, it aināt going to happen. SC2 might happen. GGXX, depending on the turnout. But am willing to hold on if we get at least 8. If not, then it would be a waste of time, for everyone. I wanna see 10+ in GGXX, but that aināt going to happen I think. MvC2, donāt ask. Tons of scrubtacular people say shit, but donāt back it up. But other than that,a I wanna hold a tourney this weekend. Cause we need more practice.

Iāll be down for a GGX2 tourney for sure, Iād also be down for a cvs2 tourney but I donāt think that will happen, even if I ran the tourney and it was free Iām not sure how many people would play, Iāll try anyways though. Iām down for a GGX2 tourney regardless of outcome though, even if we have 5 people why not go round robin, itās all in good fun.
As far as my potemkin I need to do a lot of things better, somehow Iāve got to learn to FRC the hammer fall even though itās one of the toughest in the game, I also need to get my wake up games after the ground flop together but I have a much better idea of what works and what doesnāt now, I also need to react to Baikenās run with either a command grab or normal grab, potemkin doesnāt have a low hit that is fast enough to react on sight for me, I also found out why I couldnāt break through the sweep into fireball, I was trying to do the hammer fall way to early. Iām also studying up on Potemkin matchups like Dizzy and Slayer and the others Iām not to familiar with.
Is there a GGXX cabinet anywhere in Reno, or are yāall meeting at each otherās homes?

Dizzy is basically a keep away character, and can also be used as a rush, but I think sheās more effective being turtle. Anyway, this weekend for sure?? Weāre having a GGXX and CvS2 and SC2 tourney? LOL Mash on grab. Why you got caught by one??? Anyway, seriously I gave up on Sol. I donāt think I can play him well enough and besides, only relying on dust loop sorta killed it. I like him, donāt get me wrong, but I control Baiken better than I control Sol. Thatās just me though. P.S. Paul, Rob only lost to 2 people yesterday during casual. Donāt think itās gonna be good though I think people are sandbaging and stuff. But he only lost during casuals againts a Slayer player and an Axl player. Whatās good about the Slayer is, he said heās a fiend with Slayer, TP set-ups to combos was the shizznazz from what he said :). The Axl player is the same guy theyāre staying with. He said he has good range and counters very well :). Awesome stuff so far from what heās been saying :). Oh he had 5-6 game win streaks :). So weāll see come tourney time though. Are we still all comming to Atlantis and get some practices??
Weāre having one tonight since we have a tourney tommorow. Everyone must show up dude. I donāt want any flakes on this one. We gotta do this since we did horrible in SVGL. Weāre better than that :). Anyway back to watching GTO

Thanks for the new Av Paul itās even tighter than my Kensou one that was lost during the collapse. Iāll be at the Atlantis about 8pm tonight, I just got home from work and man was today a hot one, I need to cool down.
I keep thinking about how Rob is doing, does he play any matches tonight? Itās also great that he is getting this exposure to other players because heāll return with some golden nuggets of wisdom for us. See you tonight.

Well the Fairfield Tilt will be getting GGXX ready very soon. The manager will have it setup as soon as he gets the shipment. Go ahead and read up on the 707 Tilt tournament thread for more info on it. Also I had some time to practice up on GGXX on my days off so Iām basically where I was when I played at SVGL with a few new suprises.
Shinomori: Yeah go with the one character that works for you well in the long run. I learned the hard way because most of the time when I pick up on multiple charactersā¦I tend to mess up really bad hehe.

Tourneys??
Is there any chance that you guys could run tourneys on Sundays, or very very late Saturday nights? My wife works on Sats til around 2, and its about a 2hr. drive up to Reno from here. And, with all the hotel check-ins and some gambling, Iām afraid i would miss an early tourney. I read somewhere that you guys ran a real late, like 10pm tourney. Is this the norm?? Thanks in advance.

We plan on Running a GGX2 tourney tonight at around 10pm, sign ups around 9:30, if there are people interested I will run a cvs2 tourney that will probably be free entry so people will participate, Iāl even throw in my Japanese DC Ikaruga for first place as a prize since I donāt play the game (actually I need a new convertor disc) Wel Iāll see you guys tonight, I plan on showing up about 8:30, so Iāll see you there.

Impluze:We really donāt know dude. I mean Monday, me and Rob works early in the morning. We also work like around 9am every Sunday morning and thatās already hard considering we hold our tourneyās on Saturdays late (thanks Paul :rolleyes: ). Anyway weāll see what happens, and it just really depends on how everyone feels about it. I think I wanna have one this weekend seeing that Robās back in town :).
