Supposedly they are gonna open an In-and-Out burger in Carson City, and one in Sparks. Buncha people told me they saw this in the paper. I hope the Carson one opens first. I’ll laugh my ass off at Reno people having to drive down to Carson City to get something for a change.
Damn Carson people. They already got lucky with having no lines at their DMV office, I also heard they don’t even need a smog check to re-new their registration, and now they’re gonna get In-and-Out first?? Ghey. Totally ghey!!! Anyway, July 26th would be hella dope to go too. Assuming me and Rob can go, if only either one of the two, that would totally suck since I want Rob to see how Cali plays in GGXX so he can match and compare with what he saw in Midwest. I heard they were fiends in MW so just gotta see :). Anyway, this weekend, another GGXX tourney? Damn if only people would also play CvS2 as much as they play GGXX then we would hold a tourney for both, but alas :(.

I would have really liked to play Apoc some more but the RH on my side was completely broken, I couldn’t even activate one time the whole match, his Eagle was sick though, I wanted to see some more of his tricks, he uses that s.strong to good. I would be interested in a cvs2 tourney for sure, I was going to run one last week but I remembered the controls were broke, the first player side randomly won’t crouch and the second player side RH is broke, and I could only imagine what complaints would have come from that considering the complaints about GGX2, which I agree the HS might not feel perfect but it never failed me once and I need that for my random Hammer falls, plus JP did like 20 uppercuts in a row to test it and it worked fine for him. Well hopefully Paul will donate that button like he said so everything will be cool this weekend. Other than that I’ll be there this weekend with my Potemkin which I have a feeling a lot of people would like to see his ass beat into the ground, at least I know Paul feels that way 
I was just wondering what time the tournament will be this weekend, will it still be around 10pm on Saturday? I am just curious and I also have 2 other people who will be playing in the tourney, they are my younger brother Nick Campbell and my friend Josh who was to scared to compete in last weeks tourney. They’re not that good but they want to learn the game and it’s 2 more people for the turnout. I will be at the arcade tonight to play some matches. Later.

I’ll be at the Atlantis tonight for the tourney along with my brother Nick Campbell and Josh Ballew who will be weekly players unless their schedule keeps them from doing so. Sucks that you might not be able to make it Rob, I don’t know how long a comedy show lasts but it would be cool if you could make it, Paul told me he doesn’t plan on working today but I guess the tourney is still planned to run at 10pm tonight? I think JP would be the person to run the tourney because he knows how the brackets work better than I, or if someone could show me where people go when they lose I could do the paperwork if you don’t feel like it JP.
Other than that I told Paul I would make the trek to his house to practice up a little, so we’ll all meet up at Atlantis and see what’s up, later.

I tried to play it, but I am stuck in mvc2 syndrome. I kept trying to use combos from the vs. system and they just dont work in ggxx.

Hmmm?? Hey there Will/Jon. How you been?? Seems that we haven’t seen you in the arcades the past 2 days. Wondering if your still there. Anyway, we’ll see if our turnout would be better next week than last. About the tokens…well, if it will depend on the turnout, that seems understandable. 8 people eh, everyone call their scrubby friends to pull 8 people out of the yin yang for next weeks tourney. MvC2, GGXX and CvS2 with SC2 on hold and wondering if we really do need one.

Very GG’s JP I can’t believe it went down to the very last round, your Baiken was very improved even from the night before, you sent me to losers when we first played and I knew you had a lot better idea of how to counter my Potemkin. Great matches man, I would have been happy if either one of us won because it was just so close, still can’t believe it. I look forward to next week and I’m sure I can get my brother, Josh, and Torrey to play again to help with the turnout because they really want to learn to play. GG’s to everyone, it was very fun and I enjoyed watching so many good matches. I’m now more familiar on the tourney brackets thanks to Rob and JP so I can run tourney’s if you guys don’t feel like it. Let’s get together sometime this week and play some matches, the casual tourney at Rob’s was fun as well, I’ll give you guys a call, later.
What is the point of the entry fees on these little tourneys? You said you wanted to increase the turn out. The guys who are likely to see any benefit from the entry fee will show up either way. And if you know that you are likely to go two and out then blowing $5 on a tourney is a waste of time. Plus you’ll likely get fewer games than you would in just a normal night of sessioning.
