doh. just checked sc.com and Robin did put something up there a while back about recurring tourneys. we gotta make sure that gets bumped and updated at the right times. I’m still confused about weather the tourneys start at 6 or 10. oh well. my friend is having a bbq this saturday, so I won’t make it to reno anyway.
Shinomori: Honestly I no doubt will agree with you that attempting to connect Sols Dust Loop against a very good Eddie player is extremely hard. I will also agree with you that it’s very hard to setup the Dust loop against other good characters.
Whoa man my Sol is the absolute worst lets say comparing to Bens (Tragic) Sol. Based from what I saw and played against I got wiped out constantly by Bens Sol and his Eddie. That was when Ben totally scared the crap out of me because once a Eddie player catches me in the corner no doubt I’m going to get ripped a new one. I used to play at Sunnyvale on Tuesday nights awhile ago but it seems that GGXX is pretty much dead at that place so again I lost too much time to head down there due to work issues.
I should’ve explained my post a bit more and my fault for not looking into it deeper. What I was trying to say is that the only thing Sol really has going for him is the Dust loop setups however he has to connect with the setup first and since I have played against Tragics Eddie…It was just not possible for me to do.
Then again as I said, I really don’t play Sol at all but I learned the rest of the characters gameplay from watching Ben play against other players at SVGL. In the end though most of the time that I play in tournaments I pretty much get wiped out early mainly because I play against top players first. Mainly just my blind luck nowadays. In the end I’m decent on all the games that I play and I play the games first before I begin commenting/judging. I have played in tournaments before but the only game that I have really played well in a tourney is T4.
Naw I’m not hating on you. Glad you pointed that out to me since I really didn’t go deep on that post of mine. Bad news the Fairfield Tilt still doesn’t have GGXX which I’m hoping they do get in soon.
I’m more of a rushdown Dizzy player. We need to meet up sometime. You can disagree with me about something I said anytime dude. There are times when the words that I post up or whatever I said just does not come out right at times for me.
number_6: I actually just bumped it back up since I posted on that thread. I’m interested in only the GGXX and SCII tourneys. The Capcom tournaments I can no longer compete in because I officially retired in MvC2 and CvS2 after the last Fairfield Tilt tournament.

Yeah. Who knows how long I’ve been practicing my own kind of rushdown technique with Dizzy but I have yet to perform it effectively. I know Dizzy is mostly used as a defensive player considering her movelist however I’ve been playing Dizzy differently therefore I kind of developed a mixup between rushing and defense alongside with attempting to utilize her bubble move better.
Ahhhhh. It has been awhile since I’ve played GGXX. I’ve already played GGXX Reload and that version was bleh. Eddie still kills me the most hehe.
Paul who do you plan on using at Sunnyvale? Also you know you have got at least a chance at a few people there. At least that’s what I think, I plan on entering ST and 3rd strike as well even though my chances aren’t all that great but I just want to see how people play the game maybe I’ll get into one or the other after that. Also some of the crew should form a team for the team Marvel tourney they could possibly have, I’ll be in it although you know me and my Marvel skills. Well I’m late for work, see ya.

Question to everyone: it has been said that the SC2 tourney that is going down on Saturday instead of Sunday will be held after all of the other tournaments that day, so I ask you guys: are you cool with waiting that long, or should I just wait until Evo? Yushiro: Hehe, rushdown Dizzy. I wanna see that, since I’ve seen a lot of Japanese Dizzy and I did see a rushdown one. Just that, he more or less relied on the throw set-ups into the pillar, FRC, smash, pillar repeat. But IMO, Dizzy benefits off being as a defensive rather, than being offensive, same goes with some chars, just it depends on the situation(like againts Potemkin 
). Well with few exceptions, like Milia and Chipp. But then again…

Good news on my side. I will have the last two weeks of July off from work. The Bad news is that I couldn’t get the days off for Evolution. Ah well I basically got the ying/yang effect on that offer.
If ya guys are interested…I am bringing some of my anime DVD’s along. Espiecally the Macross Zero Chapters 1 and 2 subs. Not much else going on really on my side.
Cool. Well we didn’t do as good as we all hoped we would in SVGL, but I’m proud on all of ya’ll, even you JC, you and me lost to good players bro so don’t let that get you down and keep yer head up. Anyway, that’s cool Yush, we might start holding tourney’s just for practice and stuff til Evo. So just keep checking up in here to see what we’re going to have and stuff. P.S. Rob, I decided, it’s Yama, ??, and R2 Sagat. I don’t know if it should be Rugal again. I just can’t believe I got double eliminated. And one was from a little kid too :(. Oh well, this makes me even wanna freaking play better for what happened. As for GGXX, Anji and Venom. Pretty much was totally new to me. I should’ve stayed with Baiken…but I kept insisting on Sol, don’t know why. Maybe because 1 loop=tie game. But same goes with Baiken though, now that I think about it…1 low dust, fb, hj slash, dust combo=tie game. Ahhhhhhhhh I wanna kill myself. And I might not make it tonight, dude i’m soo freaking tired and I need sleep (12 hours sleep for 48 hours, that’s enough for some, but waking up at 5:30am and 9am consecutively just sucks, and not getting any sleep while on the trip to SVGL just totally sucks). Oh, my neck’s fine now btw, it felt like shit when we made it to SVGL :mad: . Oh btw, it’s Rob’s turn :D. This weekend, he goes to Midwest, everyone should go to his pad and have mad practice til Friday :).
As my forray into GGXX starts today, I will now learn Bridget. Don’t worry about it, I’ll make sure I take care of learning everything.

Hey guys im finally back online YAY!!! World rejoice JC IS BACK!!! YAY!!! Now that i know the tourney scene much better i think ill feel alot more comfortable playing GGXX like that cause i should have done so so so so my better than i did…i mean i had those games in my grasp…ah well.
