Impulze, we could confirm a cvs2 and marvel2 tourney but here’s the catch, the down on the left side of cvs2 randomly does not work, you’ll go to crouch for a low attack you know you’re in range for and you just stand there, it really sucks, it works half ass the rest of the time, I never play Marvel, not my game but I hear that the controls are getting pretty wacked over there to, also the turnout on those games isn’t so great these days even at 1 dollar I’m sure a lot of people would not join the tourney, so unless you’re into GGX2 coming to Reno to play on shitty sticks for cvs2 and marvel could be a letdown.

Jhamarr: The last time I checked both CvS2 and MvC2 controls are starting to become very whacky. 2nd player side on CvS2 when I was there last week even the jab button stopped working for who knows what reason. I couldn’t do squat with Chun-Li without the jab :lol:

Aight, this time we’re all for sure we can hang in Rob’s house. Everyone come up with new stuff before evo to at least surprise not just the rest of the crew, but to also surprise the whole country. Impluze:Bro, like I said, we don’t know if the sticks are working. Someone that isn’t working atm (nick y), check if they have moved the games around and see if all the sticks are working. If the only game that’s working is GGXX and MvC2 then we’ll hold a tourney for both (I hope, since I don’t think anyone wants a Marvel anyway,) or if all 3 are working we might hold all 3 (again, depending if the controls work for both CvS2 and Marvel). So if we don’t get a chance to confirm that both CvS2 and MvC2 is going to be included before Saturday, you bet that we won’t have it :(. Sorry bro, until they fix those sticks, we won’t be having any.
P.S. I’d be honest here. After finding out how much the damage costs for Rob’s car, it’s making me think. Whether or not I should do anything after Evo. I should just concentrate on paying the stuff off for Rob, but atm I don’t even know how I’m gonna come up with that much money. Deep down, I know Rob’s hella disappointed, in me and how I didn’t avoid myself from being in that situation. It’s been a dreaded week for me, since I’ve been thinking on how this is going to turn up. It’s, so far, really really bad. And I don’t know how the situation is between Rob and his Dad, for Rob taking the heat for what happened, even though it wasn’t even his fault. From here on out, I won’t touch, or get near to anyone’s car/property. I should’ve never put myself in that situation. And I know better. Anyway, everyone wear the black evo shirt on the flight at least, so that at least this one would become memorable for me. Cause i’m thinking this is my last.

OK. Just keep me updated. And, someone at Atlantis please please fix the sticks for the Capcoms. I’ve been itching to head to Reno to play you guys, but everytime something gets in the way. All I can do is wait til theres a confirmation. I’d really like to bring my son to Circrap Circrap (he’s only 2, and loves those kinds of games), and if theres a tourney at Atlantis it would seal the deal.
Fighting games suck. It’s too lame that an enjoyable experience is so dependant on shit you can’t control.

JP, man…just take a break after EVO…I understand how you feel about the situation, but don’t let it bring you down so hard…all things in this world will always work out to the best resolution, and I doubt that losing one of our two most consistant players because of something like this is the best outcome…I know I don’t offer a lot of positive advice (I mean, I’m sure Paul’s been scarred for life by insults and wisecracks from me) but just trust me on this one…just take a break after EVO and I know everything will work out to a more positive outcome.

I’m hoping that Atlantis gets SvC Chaos. Despite that the graphics are aka neo geo alike I really like playing it more then CvS2 so far. I’m doing well with Shiki at the Fairfield Tilt yet I still need to get used to the dash cancels and gameplay. Demitri and Violent Ken is also tight as well.
