Well if ya guys unable to make it to Sunnyvale then why not visit us guys at the Fairfield Mall Tilt? At least it’ll save close to two hours driving but it’s a small thought of mine. 
Right now trying to practice more on Sol’s Dust loop and Testament. As for Eddie well I do have something new that works out extremely well but it is a bit difficult. Here is the layout of my scheme.
c.S, s.HS, d, d+S frc, hcf-u+S frc, quick dash s.P, j.K, j.HS, j.Dust or air overdrive. It’s kind of crazy but in the beginning you have to be extremely quick with the execution after the frc d, d+S however I’ve already tested it and it works very well.
So basically once any Eddie player gets the frc timing down on the d, d+S drills then there is an excellent chance that you can set up any opponent for an air combo or let them eat a s.S, c.HS, overdrive for massive damage. If they do block the drill but still get the frc then you still have plenty of time to rushdown your opponent. Anyway that is my hints for today Eddie wise. Back to practicing for me. 
I’d like to go to Sunnyvale as always but it does seem to be a hassle to bring a whole other vehicle to fit one or maybe 2 more people than would fit in Rob’s car since he is going anyways. I don’t know if Nick Yacono plans on going but I’m sure JC and Paul still would like to go, so that’s only 4, a nice comfy ride in Rob’s car. That leaves me out me but I’d be willing to stay home to make things easier, I’ve been before and I got to go to Evo last year so JC should go ahead and go and get some more big tourney experience. Sunnyvale rocks me at cvs2 except for some of the scrubbier folks and all I have is Potemkin in GGX2 which would probably get rocked to, I’d like to go if there’s room (I don’t know how roomy Rob’s back seat is) but I’d stay behind with no hard feelings to make it easier for you guys. It seems that it was coming down to this anyways so you guys can just show me the videos of you guys owning up

Ok i got everything set up and ready to go so no worries. I have 2 empty tapes to bring with us…that should be more than enough this time. And are we staying for finals that night btw?
That’s cool that there will be room for everyone, I was just suggesting that if one more person was to many and only Rob’s car was to be taken I wouldn’t mind staying behind, I planned on cleaning my room tommorrow but I will gladly wait for till Sunday. This time I’m gonna pay attention to GGX2 more, rather than cvs2 like last time, nothing new in that game and GGX2 has been growing on me, see you guys tommorrow.

I wanted to say, good job rep’in Reno Crew (Chris, Paul, JC ( like you said bro, you weren’t going to get double elim’d ), and Nick for doing a GJ on both games). Sorry me, Rob and Joe didn’t make it due to me being stupid and not driving safely. I should’ve been there with you guys, but I’m stupid, and I’ll never forgive myself for doing this shit.
Well, can’t just think about that now can we. Gotta move on. I’m thinking this weekend (8/2/03) we’ll have a free-for all tourney, no entry fee, just practice tourney for EVO. I’m thinking since it’s a free tourney, I hope we get a big turnout to see peep’s and try to at least compete. But as Paul said before, greed motivates. But IMO since we’re all going to EVO (8 of us at least), it’s better for us to just save up as much as we can for Evo, remember fool’s for the Hotel room (this pretty much covers the days we’ll be there-Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) which all costs $99.00 a night) the total is around $400.00, roughly. So I don’t know how much we’ll split this up since we’re having 2 rooms, and that’s $400, for each room, ($800.00) for both. So remember $100.00 for each person. EACH, so please come up with this before we get there, since Rob needs it in his account before the day we leave (8/6/03) since our flight is at (8/7/03). Sounds good?? Anymore questions, just feel free to ask us in person. If you can’t come up with the money by then, well I don’t know what to tell ya. And if you bought the tick’s already and yet you can’t come up with the $100.00 for the room, talk to Rob, since to me, I don’t know what I’ll do about it (assuming you’re going to pay me, I won’t say that I will, but I might, spot you, BUT!! I’m throwing shit up in the air atm and I am not sure I’ll do this). To avoid such things, what we all can do is this, come up with the $100.00 before the day we leave and we’ll all be fine and dandy. Cool??

Well I just got word that I might be getting the week off in about two weeks and I’ll let ya guys know if it happens. When it does happen I plan to head back up to Reno again between around August 13th-19th.

as for Evo… Room + tax is about $110 per person… u can pay me any time after next saturday but before Wed of that following week… cause it gives me one day to deposit the money into my account.
If u cannot make that payment to stay in my room… u gotta give me a good reason why and how u plan on paying me back… I’m very very short on funds now especially after what happened this past weekend… i might not be able to cover for u… so if u can have one of the other eight players spot ya… it’d be aight.

Everyone else that hasn’t heard or can’t believe the car accident scene that we saw on the way home (I was sleeping til Chris was all like “SOMEBODY DIED BECAUSE OF THAT!”) should check it out, too. This isn’t the same accident, but it’s a pretty good approximation…
I don’t check the boards very often, Paul…but do you think you could give me a call when you are inviting people over…I can almost always stop by in the evenings and I’m always down to get some practice and get out of the house…I don’t want to lose my momentum before evo

We dont’ know if the sticks for CvS2 is working anyway :(. I think Marvel’s leaning that way now too. So we’re not sure about holding that one up. But we’ll see. Assuming people are down to lossing 2 dollars per tourney ($1.00 entry, $1.00 tokens assuming you get 2-0’d every match the entire tourney, $1.50 if you don’t). But I’d be happy to have a CvS2 tourney. We haven’t had one, or even joined one in months (my last tourney was in SVGL 6/21/03) so I’d be happy to be playing in one really since Evo’s almost here. Well anyway, back to work for me. Latez!!!
P.S. How ironic after what happened to us driving to SVGL, we ended up watching Bad Boys II and just watched car wrecks left to right. Weird feeling after comming out of the theaters really :bluu: . Btw, the movie rocks, it’s just that I was more into thinking about Rob’s car than anything else that day.

Well we should get together at Rob’s this week probably on or after Tuesday, that’s when his parents leave and we’re invited over for all the practice we can get. I have high hopes for Reno at Evo, I’m just aiming to send someone home thinking about how Potemkin slammed there ass into the ground :evil:

Hehehe your Potemkin will no doubt do very well in Evolution. It’s about as dangerous when I played against it for the first time.
Anyways I still wasn’t able to get some days off for Evo so I’m pretty much out on this one again. I’m trying to see if I can make it to the next N-Cube tournament so I’m going to attempt to save up on money and I have a good chance of getting the days off for November.
