Famitsu stream showed a SSF4 Abel v. Guile game. New info discussion says that it looks like Abelās sweep got faster and that it looked like he did an air throw (probably a command throw). Hopefully we can get a video of this soon to confirm!
I donāt remember seeing any new air throw when I was watching Abel fight Guile in the stream, but I could be wrong.
Based on your avatar, I predict TT to do 10x damage on all female characters in SSF4. That pesky Chun wonāt be a problem any more.

Iām going to say no on the air throw. I believe the clip in question is just Abel doing a j.FP right next to Guile when the stream freezes.
However, in those videos I did not see Abel doing any sweeps so I think weāre missing something.
Iām also very disappointed that it seems like the falling sky shortcut is just as bad - there were several wiffed FS throughout the match but COD -> FS made me cry on the inside.
Is that not a slide move by Abel i see?

At what point? Cause I watched it back a few times and I didnt see any fake kick moves. But I like though how they cut stuff outā¦ new moves? supers? ultras? perhaps.

I dunno, the CoD > FS (even if it was a mistake) looked really fast. Did they shorten recovery on CoD?

The fake kick is pretty clear. Looks like the startup for a wheel kick, then nothing comes out.
That might be handy, use wheel kick on them a couple of times, when they realise they can shoryuken you ought of it, throw a fake one out and go for the punish. Still, Iād rather have a completely new move.
Oh, and the CoD > FS looked like a cancel to me. There didnāt seem to be any recovery on the CoD.
The fake kick actually looked very similar to Sagats one, imo. Correct me if Im wrong, but it doesnt seem like a startup for the wheel kick.
Doesnāt Abel already have normal that looks like Sagatās RH but is actually much worse?
^Yeah, that pretty much makes Abels fake kick even more useless than Sagatsā¦

I saw the Guile vs Abel match thanks to another youtube uploader uploading it (not sure if itās been deleted or not yet).
I did not see any fake kick.
It was laggy and the only thing I saw close to what might be called a fake kick would be the S.HK 'cause lag skipped a few visuals of the move.
Havenāt seen the Honda vs Abel match 'cause I canāt find it anywhere on youtubeā¦ Iāll look other places soon so I have no comment on that one at the moment.
When I say the startup, I mean the very first few frames, which actually look pretty similar to far standing roundhouse; this one looks fast enough to appear to be either. You can already sometimes fake a wheel kick on a trigger-happy opponent with by whiffing roundhouse from far away.
Even if itās a Sagat-style double-tap fake roundhouse, you could still fake wheelies with it.
a fake kick could be useful in a reset situation, i mean depending on how quickly you can execute a TT after it a fake kick might be a important part of his offence.
i think his command grab should have a little more priority and hes roll should be completely invincible and with the crouching fierce punch should never whiff as for a anti air i just use his st. mk while they are far away it works really good
