you probably timed it wrong thats it because command throw = a grab. you can grab a person even if they are crouching.
A question about Abel’s f+MK. In some videos I’ve seen him move forward WHILE doing the kick. I’m NOT talking about the dash cancel, I know what that looks like. I’ve also done this myself randomly, but I can’t duplicate it on purpose. Does this exist, or am I just hallucinating?

At 1:23 and 1:32, your counter a Blanka ball with f+MK. You dash into it, but it looks so smooth like it was one movement. That might be the explanation. I guess when countering a move at full screen, you have enough time to do that without the danger of being interrupted. When I do dash - f+MK, there’s a noticeable recovery at the end of the dash and I can’t seem to do it smoothly.

tornado = throw invul
ex tornado = hit invul
So, messing around with Kara-ing stuff. You can kara throw with low roundhouse like you can with Ken in Third Strike if anyone’s familiar with that. You have to hit low roundhouse then go to neutral and press jab+short. Timing is hella tricky, and frankly I don’t know if it’s worth it. I get it like 20% of the time, seems way harder than in 3rd. Can also Kara Tornado Throw the same way, but I get that like… 5% of the time.
right, I just assumed that the ex had both invul, hit on top of throw, since it’s ex.
Hi every1 just wondering if there is any other move than his rekka that you can fadc, and when do you activate it?
If we’re going to update the first post, Abel’s super (the throw invuln one) +/or Ultra beat out Akuma’s Super +/or Ultra. Makes for fun times when one of those fools throw it out randomly.
i think you can fadc cr.HP first hit… not very sure though.
first hit of cr.HP cancels into a lot of things anyway though, eh?

well try using it when you are both trying to space each other out but at around max range of f+mk. since you are getting punished try that.
