Oh. I’m perfectly well aware. I’m not Daigo fan-boying, but the footsies in that match aren’t exactly what I’m used to seeing from him. I expected to see better footsies and zoning, but those things were there.
I suppose that, at the end of the day, I was almost expecting a Ryu to be able to zone a Fei pretty efficiently. But, what do I know? I don’t play Ryu. =p
Not sure as I went home before the end of the first day (Burger van made me feel mega ill me thinks) I know Samurai Drew was going to play Natty in last 64(Or 32)? so that means at least one of them made it past that stage. Personally I didn’t get out of the groups, won my first two matches and ended up needing just 1 more to secure going through but lost to a really good Ryu and a really good el furtue (who lost in top 16 (or 32?) to daigo after taking 1 match) which I am a bit disappointed with. Although since I pretty much didn’t practice for this tourney I guess I should be quite happy with how I performed.
Hopefully will have a much better showing at my next one 
that Guy got owned real bad, obvious difference in level. One thing though, Natty kept wasting meter doing FADC combos when the opponent is dizzied, after a lvl 3 FA too. Not worth the damage scaling imo. I guess he noticed the level gap and decided he can afford to be flashy with them combos hehe.

Draw game was funny. I guess you were a lot better on the Ryu matches with your punishes. I’m not gonna tel you how to punish stuff because i’m sure you know, i just guess you were a little offbeat but hey, especially casuals thats pretty normal. Good games in general.

Speaking of arcades SF4, i played for a little bit just now, managed to get my rank from B to B+, 15k BP woohoo… this is a rare occasion since theres barely anyone playin sf4 at my arcades anymore but i still check the place from time to time and just now there were a gouki n claw player… 15 wins streak ftw
haha yeah U1 is the better option against THawk, its kinda like a bad habit, ive been using U1 more against THawk with better results for obvious reasons

They changed the times for his ex messiah kick so if you do the old infinite you can keep him guessing on when you throw in the low short or throw. Or catch a counter hit with the f.mk.

That’s the old infinite. There’s actually some leeway in variation [check the hu vid I posted].
If you drop the links you will get a mashed ex messiah but if your crouching short jab whatever it shouldn’t hit fully and mostly go over your head.
But then again if he is mashing, sorry if he’s maaaashing blud, then you should be able to hear it and bait it out.

Abel has infinites on most of the new characters. I dont remember if I tested on Makoto and Ibuki but If I remember right he has it on everyone else except T.Hawk. Just got to find the right combination of attacks. Deejay for example was as simple as step kick, st.Jabx4, into step kick

i think you jumped a little bit too much im surprised you didnt get punished by upball that much, you should walk and st.lk more instead of just rollin… you missed punishin quite a few balls(on hit, but not counter hit) with ultra in the 2nd round. oh and its always good to dash after blockin a ball, even if you dont think that you can punish with dash f.mk, at least you get closer to the blanka player… stayin far away is more benificial for the blanka than abel
