OH to lp is a 2 framer, and you have to hit lp at the last frame, so it makes it a 1 frame link if you want to connect fwd.mk.

obviously doesn’t work on all characters, i’ll make a list later to show which characters it works on.

I think there must be something off about the frame data when it hits as an overhead then, as close HK puts someone in hit stun for 21 frames, and HK is listed as having 16 recovery frames, which means a max advantage of +5 … Would someone care to correct my brain please ? I’m sure Strider knows what he’s talking about, so that just leaves me to think I have no idea what I’m talking about

So, the full retarded combo could be : CoD LOW > FADC > st.hp > CoD > FADC > cr.HP > Ultra.

Also has anybody done any testing with cl.HPxxEX Wheel? It seems too good to be true.

cl. hpxxEX wheel kick afaik only works on the big guys eg. Sagat, Zangief it whiffs on avg sized characters…

Edit: Upon further research it hits on most characters if the first hit of cl. fp hits at max range.

there is some use, jump in jab stuffs some anti-airs and neutral jump short is good in certain situations.
I also came up with some more counterhit combos last night that should not be possible… will post em up tonight

How comes the overhead CH combos only work on crouchers?

(Although most overhead hits will be on crouchers I’m just wondering)

that move only becomes an overhead vs crouching opponents, if they are standing, close st.hk will come out instead(diff animation)

hfz I believe it’s two hits within the same animation.

Natty; the non over head hits first and then we have to wait for the rest of the animation to finish + recovery frames.

With the over head it hits later in the animation so we’re waiting for less animation to finish + recovery frames.

So with the standard close hard kick we lose our window of hit stun, waiting for the animation to finish + recovery frames, to make the combo.

Btw if I could hit this combo OH -> st.lp -> fwd.mk -> st.fp -> CoD with any kind of reliability it would render the balrog matchup into shit pie.
Unfortunately my old man hands just make me eat crouching jab.
