$7.50 would be a pain in the ass to make change for every time. $10 is more than fair though for SFIV.

xi weng - If you can’t afford $5 more for the tourney then you’re just not budgeting correctly, and have bigger problems to worry about than playing street fighter. (slap me if I missed sarcasms)
Also, what are yall getting charged for the venue? Typically, for not HUGE MAJOR tourneys, it’s $5 venue and $10 per game (instead of 10/5), so it’s still $15 total if you’re only entering one game, but double the pot with the same entry fee.

Oh, I guess this is kinda self-explanatory but:
IF YOU’RE BRINGING A CONSOLE, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING UNLOCKED!
This includes all characters, stages, etc. for the games (Smash, SF4, etc.).
I’ll update the OP later, but as of right now, the proposal to raise the SF4 pot to $10 seems to have far more yeses than nos. No responses will be interpreted as being okay with any changes. As of right now, we are raising the tournament fee of SF4 to $10.
We’re still considering the T6 thing. We don’t even know how many people are coming for T6 in the first place. Whatever tournament fee will get more people we’ll do. We don’t want to scare anybody off with higher fees but if only serious competitors would come in the first place, then we don’t want people to think they can’t win a big pot here.
Good call. Obviously, I can’t comment on Ar’s tekken scene, but I asked around Dallas and most of the Tekken players decided they wouldn’t be coming to the tourney. There should be about 6 or so for sf4. Don’t know if that’ll affect your decision making, but just thought you’d like to know that Tekken probably won’t be getting any out of towners (at least from Tx).
That’s unfortunate. Thanks for the update. We’re getting some Tekken guys from OK and you’re playing in the Tekken tourney so at least that’s SOME representation from out of state. Also, thanks for letting me know how many are coming in your “crew.” We’re trying to be as accommodating as possible, but this is our first tourney and we also want to make a good impression on our local scene. We don’t expect any hiccups, however. We’re confident we can run a smooth, efficient tourney as long as everyone keeps to their word on how many setups they’re bringing.

One of my main reasons of going is to get the chance to play you in 3s casuals. I don’t really have a chance against you though. At evo J.R. Rodriguez and some random Canadian peaced me easily. I haven’t had the chance to play a good Oro in years, looking forward to it.
