The disconnects and random bugs are happening a lot and it’s really bringing down a good game. Any word on a patch? Did the dev team even acknowledge the bugs in the game?
There’s no greater feeling than waiting from the end of a line just to get booted when it’s your turn. Shit is annoying man.
The disconnects especially are screwing up the experience. I was on for an hour yesterday and only got 5 games in do to all the disconnecting and waiting. Everytime I get s disconnect and I have to start at the end of the line again.
All I get to do is WATCH people play SFHD! :mad:
Heh, Arcade game patches are the last to get Title Updates. I’m still waiting for a patch on a game that got released in August! And the Devs sent the patch to Microsoft in October and it’s still not available cause it has to go through a long as verification process! Yet, fan favorites like Gears of War 2 got a patch in under 3 weeks of the games release…
So, you’ll be waiting a while if they decide to make a patch.
I agree. The disconnects are extremely annoying and happening quite often. I seem to have better luck in smaller rooms of 4 or less.
The 3 stars/frozen life bar thing is aggravating as well.
Are you guys having problems in social matches or ranked? I play strictly ranked matches and have had minimal disconnects in hours of game time.
Same here, other than the obvious disconnector.
Actually, I haven’t had too many failures in the social matches either.
the last ps3 update really screwed everything up. it was running decently at launch, then they updated it a week later and it’s been wack shit ever since.

Well, Capcom is aware of the situation. They are probably trying to gather as much data as possible before submitting real patches for both platforms because apparently it costs lots of money to roll those out.
After reading the making of HD remix article they have posted on the internet I wonder if there even is a dev time assigned to this game.
I originally picked it up for PS3, but it’s obviously broken even if you discount the system update. I’ve had every problem listed in this thread; I even deleted my save data and eventually re-downloaded the game. Still constantly screws up, and it’s going to kill the long-term player base for the game. I’m a big SF player, but the technical issues are so bad that it drove me into a “fuck PSN” rage and I haven’t touched it on PSN in a week.
I ended up buying a stick and the 360 version on the advice of some friends at work. It’s actually much better on 360(I still lose connection and so on, but far less often). There are a lot more idiots and new players on XBL, but I figure the slightly more stable online balances it out.
Quite frankly, I don’t trust Backbone to patch a goddamn thing. If they do patch it, I hope they outsource it to someone who knows what they’re doing.
Just improve the damn disconnects. That’s all I want (and rehire Sirlin to rebalance Akuma). For every one match I get to play, I have five disconnects. I’ve learned to hate 6-player, best of 5 rooms.

honestly I play in rooms of 3, no more than 4. Its not fun having to wait minutes to play.
What I’ve had problems with is I can not join a game that my friend is already a part of but we can join the same chat group. This use to happen when we played Halo 2 but hasnt happened til now. We play Halo 3 together fine, chat in a group but we can not join the same STHD game.
I might have a problem connecting with him through old network coding? Either way, it needs to be solved because I find it hard to believe that a person who lives 2 blocks from me can not join any games that I’m a part of.
I think that multiple xbox live names should be accessible on 1 console at once while playing STHD. If anything make it easier to change button configurations. Right now, I do not have a joystick, so my friends and I have to use the pad. We all have different button setups, what is more annoying is that the buttons can not be changed until the match has already begun. So forced to pause immediately after the round begins, I hope that my opponent has some honor and wont attack me while I stand still in the pause menu erratically changing my buttons.
The health bar glitch is also ridiculous. If half the bar is yellow, its nearly impossible to gauge health correctly.
I couldn’t agree more. I won’t play in 6 person rooms anymore. I get way too impatient.
Add me if you want to throw down in some 3-4 player rooms.

I love 6 player rooms. If you play against scrubs you get to play forever until you’re all by yourself in the room. Plus it makes you wanna win that much more. Cuz if you lose you have to go make a sandwich before you can play again and you don’t wanna do that. Maybe I just like watching SF too.
The health bar glitch isn’t a big deal for me anymore. If you get it…as soon as you get a chance just leave the room and go back in. The glitch goes away.
Like someone said above…right now Capcom is just gathering data on all of the bugs so they can do a thurough fixing when the time is right. Better than just assuming what needs to be fixed and then having a lot of shit leftover to fix. I hear it costs a lot of money to patch Xbox Live games so it’s best to get it right the first time.
New guy here and this has probably been mentioned so forgive me, but I notice that the “Connection Lost” boot usually happens when someone uses START to select their color for their character. I’ve tested it many times and it happens 9 times out of 10, and Ive talked to some people in a Party to select START to see what happens and someone always gets booted.
So the workaround, I think, is just to not hit START to select your color until it can either be verified or fixed.
Fixing the desync with Vega would be awesome, sorta lame that some of my Vega wins come from Desync =/
Ya but it’s no fun playing in rooms with nothing but scrubs. Plus if I’m in a room with good players I have to play my main character too much if its 6-man, best of 5 or wait forever, LOL (I hate best of 5 for player matches). I like to play random select a lot in player rooms.
