I love waiting during four bo5 matches and then getting disconnected just after I choose my character.
At least we know they failed certification with SCEE, which means they are forced to fix the game before they are able to release it in PAL regions and hopefully everybody else will benefit from it.
Blanka’s the only character I like so I don’t have the random select issue. I’d get mad everytime it doesn’t pick Blanka. Guile’s kinda fun too but I suck with him and he’s not shenanigany enough. I do have a problem with 3/5 round player matches. Scrub players will act stupid and make the matches last way longer than they should and good players will go to the last second of the last round on just about every match. Still…as long as you’re winning you can still play. A good player match with good players is just like being at the arcade. Fucking around with random select sends you to the back of the line. I guess I just like the competitive aspect of it over anything else.
So I tried out something last night that some of you (360 owners) may want to try. It sounded like a joke at first, but it appears to work.
Last night I played from 8PM to 3AM and didn’t get the health bar glitch at all. I changed the setting in the options menu from Remixed Audio, to Classic Audio.
Give it a shot, it may help reduce one of those issues.
I’ll give the audio option a try. I haven’t been able to play for that long at night, the disconnects are too much after a while.
Funny you should mention that megaman. I’ve never experienced this healthbar glitch in the 200 games I’ve played and I immediately put Classic audio on when I first booted the game up.
Ya I actually had it happen for the first time last night while on Classic Audio. But that’s once in two solid nights of play. YMMV, but it looks like it helps reduce the issue.
