kids go missing every day and nobody mentions each and every one of them. children are being kidnapped and killed for good fortune sacrifices every day, so forgive me if i don’t scream racist pigs at everyone for this poor girl’s disappearance not being on the news.
edit: i don’t want to come off as harsh as i probably seemed, it’s just that i hate it when specific things are beaten to death in every news outlet possible just because it’s a slow news day/week and yet our country is being fucked by the government and nobody is reporting or doing a fucking thing about it.
Hell yeah the media is racist. A few years ago in San Diego, 2 kids went missing around the same time. One was a little blond haired white girl, the other was a little black boy. The next week there were national headlines about the missing white girl, I never even found out what happened to the boy.
Yup. Sometimes black victims don’t get as much media coverage as white ones but it’s not nearly as much of a “double standard” as some make it out to be, and besides like rcaido pointed out black victims get much more coverage than most other minorities combined.
In each case there is tragedy however it doesn’t come down to race neccessarily, what it does come down to is who, what, or which one is more marketable. As such we have what we have here. In America “white female” is more marketable however, in another country it may be different altogether. (I hear Europe hates gypsies) in any event it isn’t about race or morals or gender, its about money. The more marketable the more desirous and overall the better story.
I remember watching this experiment where a white boy and a black boy took turns stealing a bicycle at a public park by breaking the lock. None of the passersby gave notice to the white boy even though he was using hammers and shit. Then comes the black boy and everyone tries to stop him.
Basically it’s the same case as this scenario but flipped 180 degrees.

Reminds me of this video I saw in sociology class where a young Cuba Gooding Jr was treated with more suspicion and scrutiny in certain social situations even though his counterpart (some white kid) was actually doing some questionable stuff and hardly any of the bystanders batted an eye.
All there scenarios are Amerikkka in a nutshell. I have lived that same experience. They should throw asians and hispanics in the mix just to show how it only changes when the white people are concerned. Fucking white men will destroy the entire world just to appease this silly image of the perfect aryan woman they have in their mind, wether she wants them to or not.
Is the one scenario with the hot blonde really that surprising to people? Really?
She could’ve chopping bodies up in broad daylight and a guy would’ve probably get into a “golf instructor” position from behind to show her the proper technique.
This may sound heartless but this is how it’s always been from my experience of watching the news and reading newspapers and magazines. One blonde girl gets missing, and the community acts like it’s the end of the world, when the same happens to a black, or even a hispanic girl, people just go “meh… ”
Fuck kids. I just want to say that. If you’re too young to be useful, you’re too much trouble to look for. Now mow my lawn or get off it
Also, the corporate-owned news outlets are in the business of weaving a narrative that will get the most attention and make the most money. Most of that attention and money comes from white people. Audiences have a tendency to identify with protagonists most like themselves, which is why you never see a movie or a TV show with an “ethnic” actor unless it’s being marketed as a niche title.
If you don’t like it, get more money and watch more news than white people and they’ll start tailoring their bullshit to your demographic.
