Nice video, Q! Glad you found something reliable for your MODOK combos. I havent played around with plasma beam much, but there is alot of potential for combos and pressure strings. Good stuff.
Ironboy: Yeaaaah that’s me unfortunately haha. Those matches were before EVO while I was testing out my new seimitsu buttons (which I hate by the way) so that’s pretty much why I look so terrible. Good catch. its at around 11:45. Its very similar to your exchange combo but I dont know if he is throwing h cubes in there too. I didn’t think those hit in the corner? it looks like 3 different heights of cubes… i’m so confused! FUCK

anyway I just tested it in the lab, and it has the same start up as the TAC combo M.H>L Cube> H) then it goes into the following: M> flight> M> M> H cube> M> H cube> M> H cube> M> H Cube> M Cube> M cube> L Cube> crazy legs(L)>S
I finally found out how to do this. Also if anybody new is trying to do this, the time to go into flight mode is slower, otherwise you will get Flight to M cube

your notation is missing another L cube in the beginning but yeah looks like the rest of the notation is right! I kept doing M>flight> m cube and then trying to connect M,M thats where i was going wrong! Sweet I’m gonna practice this all day everyday! just need to figure another way to get in so I can start offense without a TAC. Opponent’s who use virgil or dante just anti air with jab whenever i try a box dash… fuck
EDIT: I’m beggining to think this may not work in ultimate. when I do fly H, l cube x 2 then M, fly, M, M, the part after teh fly doesn’t connect. don’t know what it is with the timing here or what not but I’ve never seen the M combo… FUUUUCK. I guess the one that Nos brought up is much easier.
nope it works in ultimate :tup:, thats how i tested it. In my original post before my edit I said the combo works in ultimate. however I took that out because after attempting to do the combo a countless number of times, the opponent would tech out of the 3rd M>H cube.
However, I used this combo successfully on Thor last night. The fly>M>M part isn’t really that tricky, but it takes some time getting used to. This combo, like all of the other fancy Modok TAC combos, needs to be performed quickly, otherwise the opponent will drop out of the range of the remaining M>H cubes.
Hopefully somebody could help you on this, because right now I can’t since I have a test tomorrow. So sorry. But tomorrow night I will definitely solve this mystery. I think you can sub M cubes, but i can’t confirm until tomorrow.

Here’s Flash Metroid messing around with Modok in training (starts a minute or so in) and taking him into some online matches and offline ones too, I haven’t watched all of this yet so don’t know at what point he stops. His execution is on another level, it’s amazing that he’s just started using him, I learned some things I hadn’t seen before! Enjoy

You really put a lot of stock on some team a dude just throws together lol. Without DHC glitch that teams synergy is now flawed imo
It certainly isn’t as good in Ultimate now because:
Sentinel Drones got nerfed
MODOK Balloon Bomb no longer knocks down, so I lose my braindead slide hit confirms
Deadpool’s overhead isn’t cancelable anymore, so I don’t have the same crazy mixups anymore
And of course, DHC Glitch
