Ack… After revisiting my little cube combo, I realized that I didn’t set the dummy to try to stop the exchange. I’ve since gone back and verified that it does work, but the particular combo I posted very likely could’ve been countered.
Le sigh…
And to think I have trouble doing 9 lol!
I can’t stand my team in MVC3 (Shulk/Tron/Mag), I’ve dropped all of them since evo.
Today starts a brand new day, I promise you all I will show you what a man with top tier execution, a lifetime of FG experience, and an unfathomable amount of time on his hands can accomplish.

thanks for re-uploading and thanks for doing these vids in the first place. i am a MODOK junkie! i am ass at this game and i find most of the characters totally unappealing, but MODOK is simply GDLK

Sidenote: In my opinion the best thing about being a modok player at evo was the props for just repping him. So many people from around the country who never even had a decent matchup with mr. bighead that they appreciate the experience. As you guys can obviously hear in the background.

Nos, if you used Phoenix with that starting MODOK, do you know how fast you would get 5 bars? You had it instantly in that 3rd match…
Very awesome MODOK play though.
Random tip: Sent vs Dark Phoenix isn’t that bad. Spam Hyper Sentinel Force when you think she’ll teleport. It punishes nearly 100% of the time.
It punishes a bad phoenix but if you miss itll get you killed when you miss
Maybe I should’ve explained a little better.
At a certain height range, after Phoenix throws two sets of fireballs, she cannot punish HSF. If she input teleport before or during the flash, it’s a free kill. If she input the last set of fireballs, it may punish. If she uses her super, it might hit you (it does miss half the time from what I’ve experienced), but she can’t combo from it.
Hard Drive is just as risky, if not more risky. It does work when you can react to the fireball, but mistiming it just by a bit will get you killed.

I was actually thinking about switching to your team (Modok/Hulk/Sentinel) because the damage output is just CRAZY. I’m pretty sure his gamma charge is the most damaging assist in the game (46k even when fully scaled?) and that meteor super is just nuts (400K for a lvl1??)
My BnBs with that team (no x-factor/exchange/tagging/cubes/etc):
Off a throw - builds two meters, does 1 million damage, more if I started with meter
Off a jump S - builds two meters, does 1.1 million damage, if I start with a single meter, it does 1.3 Million!! :looney:
