There is mutiple ways to connect Jamming Bomb with a assist, but Drones is one of the easier way.

plus sent drones are still pretty good for storm and MODOK. Loving flash’s new team

I’m currently playing Modok, Cap, Skrull. I’ve got some sexy low ass damage easy nine cube loops with Dok :stuck_out_tongue:
I actually just like to power him up and tag him out just so I can MAX POWER at the end and kill people lol

I ususe cap too! mind sharing your assist choices and whatever bnbs u typically use?

My MODOK is pretty weak right now actually primarily because I don’t get to play so much.

Man I tried sentinel last night and drones are really good. :frowning: Was using Doom/Modok/Sentinel And I’ve never had so much control of space. I could doom mixups that I normally don’t do and was allowed to play so aggressive. Only thing is I fucking hate using Sentinel, idk. But hey his costumes match!

Anyway, figured a simple way to connect jamming bomb with Dr Strange.

I’m pretty sure u can connect crouching H after the bomb, but don’t know if hitstun allows you to connect a f+H after that. anyway. its simpler than the sentinel setup, and I dont have to use sentinel.

Was wondering, after you jam someone, what do you usually go to mix them up with? my mentality is that if they know they are bombed or hell, even if they don’t, they are going to be holding down back or back, so they’ll be walking/jumping forward. should i go for an air throw or just throw out a cr H?

I tested Hsien Ko’s Senpu Bu’s assist again and it seems it does count toward hitstun scaling. I tried to OTG slime + assist xx L blaster after a TAC combo and the dummy popped out of Senpu Bu (it just hits once and then they pop out of it). Just wanted to clarify that issue since I posted earlier that Hsien Ko’s assist might not count toward hitstun scaling. Sorry :confused:

nos. in your first combo here can u replace the balloon bomb with jamming bomb as the missiles hit? (away from game for a week so just theory crafting)

i know it seems as if im on this jamming bomb tip and its because i am. been using firebrand/modok/doom and am beginning to think missiles is just better for my team (help setup unblockable for firebrand, pressure for modok)

currently with that team and my cap/modok/ doom team i have no reliable way to setup a jamming bomb

I was just going to go through this thread and look for the video where the guy uses doom missiles to repeatedly combo into jamming bomb after a launcher and babykicks, need to take a better look at it

Update:You can’t combo into jamming bomb that way, but if you combo into a ground bounce, call doom,launch then knock the guy down, you can tack jamming bomb on while hidden missiles otgs.

OR you can combo into the wallbounce from anywhere, jump-cancel the wallbounce, dash forward and S, call doom, launch, short air combo and then jamming bomb when you land.

Call doom as soon as the S hits, you need to try and make sure the missiles can otg by themselves

I think even Royal Flush was even at SCR.

Looks like quite a few MODOKS doing well on the stream. But none able to crack into that top spot so far… RoyalFlush so close but idk… maybe he got too comfortable in that last round… his lead looked nearly insurmountable.

Ah well. Out of the three MODOKs there, two got to winners finals and one got to losers semis ( I think)

Honestly when more MODOK try to focus on killing people with the most damage possible…we will get more success. Clearly MOTEMPEST/RoyalFlush/Hiro can/could kill any of the characters that they touched, but they didn’t have enough damage pack into them.

I also really agreed with Jame Chen/UD that MODOK players should use jamming bomb more.

agreed, they all did really well and It was heartbreaking seeing some of those losses. Cant really blame them for the combo choices when they are all doing so well…They have obviously focused their efforts on other aspects of MODOKs game to get those wins which is a good thing to learn from. Once any of them starts to consistently do the high damage stuff its going to be out of control. I feel bad for RoyalFlush because something always seems to go horribly wrong for him on stream. Next time, bro.

I thought they were doing pretty well. it was defense that i thought was shoddy. and i expected way more iamming bombs…

What are we considering the most damaging bnbs? They seemed to optimize damage pretty well…

Good show to all that attended. Once my internet stops lagging I can notate these combos, namely motempest’s midscreen analyze cube combo against marn.

Motempest’s Doctor strange combo

J.S -> C.M -> L Cube -> S -> SJC -> J.M -> J.H -> S -> Land -> C.M -> Doctor strange -> l cube -> Dash -> L cube -> Forward H -> L cube -> Forward H -> L Blaster -> Beam super

C.M and doctor strange must be pressed at the same time. Used against ricky ortiz. 4 levels of understanding and they must be close to the corner. Though the combo itself pushes them to the corner so you will rarely drop it due to spacing issues.

Unrelated, but I loved how Motempest’s stopped ricky from punishing strange by putting a cube in front of him. I love his style of modoc.

Motempest’s midscreen cube combo

IAD -> J.M -> Land -> S.M -> C.H -> IAD -> J.M -> C.L -> C.M -> L Cube -> C.M -> C.H -> Forward H -> Whatever else

Shown in his match against marn Forward H will whiff midscreen. I haven’t played around with it much. Works off baby legs but you need to add a crouching L if you do that. I’m going to keep playing around with this one though.

Hiro Combo

IAD -> J.M -> S.M -> C.H -> IAD J.H -> S ->SJC -> J.M -> J.H -> Land -> C.M -> Doom assist-> Flight -> J.S -> L cube -> S -> SJC -> Legs (3 hits) -> Air M Balloon bomb -> L Blaster -> Super

C.M and doom must be pressed at the same time. To many air specials for Hyper battering ram, so he DHC’d. Instead of L blaster after the balloon bomb, you can just air launcher -> Otg -> L blaster -> Super.

Please point out any mistakes you find. Forgot to post the damage, but all of them do above 600k
