I do it pretty fast, think that’s the problem. I was practicing with Ken doing the SRK FADC > Ultra (preparations for Haoh Gadouken baby!) and I’d get EX SRK instead of Ultra, what I think is happening is the PPP is being pressed during the dash so Ultra says “fuck you!” then negative edge says “fuck you too!” and makes me get EX SRK instead
Only in the corner, where you can toss out a meaty normal. Can rack up some seriously tasty stun damage, like I mentioned in another post. It’s mostly just something to keep in mind, though, as it’s a very basic mix up.
Experiment with LK.Danku as soon as you land from the nj.MP to see how much of a frame advantage you can get. I haven’t tried that yet.
I thought Saikyo Crusher was anything that involves cancelling the Legendary Taunt into Shissou Buraiken c.MK xx Gadouken is the easier way to start it.
After mid-screen KRK FADC > nj.MP you’re in the perfect position for EX Dankuu, what’s more is it’s fast and the distance between the two of you is enough that your opponent shouldn’t feel the need to throw a random dragon punch (it does happen though :().
wow…forgive me if this is old news but this surprised me
messing with Gadouken -> FADC -> MP combos and i found out that close standing MP can LINK into Koryuken! very easy and does more damage than MP xx Koryu
Edit: after looking at frama data. close standing MP is +6 on hit and +0 on block, completely safe!..so you could jump-in HK, close MP and then see if it hits, then react. if it hits then Koryu. if not, backdash or kara throw
