Back from Final Round
I was tempted to pay JWong $20 just so I can play Dan against him on the stream

I do have a vid of my losers bracket match in Alpha 2 as Dan, though my first one was much better. In the original match (not losers) I played as Dan against a Guy player, and he said I gave him a little trouble after taking a round and switched to Ryu (in which the ref or whatever they’re called, and made him switch back).
I’ll upload and post it here for you Dan fanatics. I had people tell me I was a true believer and that I got spirit after my desperate run.
Just a shout out to XiaHou Mao… Really good dan player, gave me quite a beat down against my Cammy…

So I had a G1 Final against alex valle tonight on xbutt.
Needless to say he took both rounds.
He was wise to most of the shenanigans.
I was hoping it would give me the option to save the replay. sigh…
Also sometimes when I try to do a krk I end up doing the super instead; that’s how I lost the second round

I guess you were frantically trying to get that KRK out and thus did one rotation too many 
Interesting he knows our tricks but I guess a pro like him has to bone up on the odder matchups lest he gets beat like he did by Sabre’s Sakura at Evo

Although I don’t really agree with what he said about HK Dankuu > KRK, since I use it sometimes, that’s only after I’ve worked out they never stay blocking (or back dash) after blocking one People seem to be a lot more aggressive after blocked Dankuu these days, either get throws teched or jabbed out of the attempted throw or follow-up. If I want to stay on the offensive it leaves two options; KRK and neutral jumping but neither are exactly safe (unless your FADC the KRK). Back dash > EX Dankuu they can still block in time after whiffing a throw

Do you guys think the number of Dan players will increase in Super? I hear that’s hes actually decent now. Which bothers me.
It’s not like he’s gotten all that much better. People will still see him as a joke character.
KRK FADC ultra 2 does pretty decent damage. Which is huge for Dan. Now my throw/DP mixups are actually really dangerous.
Also, thinking that ultra 2 through fireballs will be sick. At the very least it’s safe because he blasts himself backwards. This allows you to try all types of shenanigans, like frame trap ultra, because it will be hard to punish. Worst case scenario you lose your ultra.
Well if people still don’t take him seriously (99% of people still say he’s not a real character, HE PERSONIFIES CHARACTER DAMNIT). Either way if I go to a tournament and see someone picking him I can yell “Get the hell off of my character!”
I have that effect of when I go to tournies or casuals, people start picking him. Sadly, they do better than I do.
Yeah, not quite up to Ryu’s standards but getting around 386 damage (full Ultra) will put a bit of fear into people.
Never thought about frame-traps with it, like using it after MK/HK Dankuu will be a lot less risky than using Shissou Buraiken, might even get a trade with a jab or something and that’s even better since you’ll be able to follow up and pressure on wake-up.
Heh, I know, right? Dan probably has more character than anyone else in the game, real talk.
Still I doubt more people will be picking him, no one will be picking him if they didn’t use him before.
Who are you Dan players thinking of trying out in Super? Still sticking with the Man In Pink?
Oh yeah!!! Pre-ordered the game already, and I will surely not play anybody else than Dan for a while!
I’m holding off on the pre-order for hope of a special edition with the movie but seems unlikely
Of course I’ll still be playing Dan, with his nice new Ultra be silly of me to stop using him. I don’t want to disappoint my subscribers either (yeah, people actually like watching my crap 
).
I’ll be trying out Juri, Dudley, Hakan, Ibuki and Makoto (in that order). I’d like to add Juri and Dudley to my roster, and the other three would be good for fun matches.
