Would that be from neutral or wake-up? These air grabs seem to have a knack for snatching Dankuu on wake-up but apparently there is a way to time and space it so Knee would come out on top.

It’s so true… some guy in his basement with access to Final Cut can put out a better dub job than some professional Capcom developer.
I don’t think Capcom had much to do with those short anime clips, and I don’t think the problem lies with the original animation studio (Studio 4c methinks) either. The person at fault is the ADR or voice director of the English version and to a smaller extent the VAs themselves but I get the impression the VAs weren’t even given the original footage to look at so they could match the words to the “mouth flaps”.
It’s even more prominent in The Ties That Bind movie, to top it off you don’t get subtitles for the original Japanese, you get dubtitles rendering the original somewhat pointless unless you actually understand Japanese 
Nothing against the VAs themselves, I think they did a pretty good job in the movie but it just seems apparent they were just given a few lines to read rather then the anime footage to better match the “mouth flaps” (that’s the technical term BTW :P).

Kinda hard to tell but do you think some of his normals are faster? Particularly far s.HK, c.HK looks as slow as normal but to be expected and s.MK is quite fast already.
man, it’d have been great if they actually put Dan’s street fighter alpha 3’s super taunt, where any key you press makes him taunt.
Not really sure where to toss this, but I’ll be repping Dan once again at Battlefield Arcadia XII tomorrow. Im gonna try to give your reset dizzy combo a shot Krackatoa, i’ve been testing it out and that thing does a shit ton of damage. Still bummed they don’t have all the taunts unlocked, how can i bait reversals without taunt 9. Top 16 here i come!

Make sure to bust out a Legendary Taunt if you can help it. It gets the Stream Monsters going nutso-fubar.

I played as Dan at some casuals last night, went pretty well against a Ryu player, but didn’t win any matches. I managed to land the Ultra a few times, and the whole place went nuts (you should have heard them when I picked Dan, someone yelled “Dan, you serious?!” Apparently the only other Dan player in the area stopped showing up and only bitched when he lost.
I did mediocre and or bad and i should feel mediocre and or bad. ;_;
Did you play Gief by any chance?
As long as you got some choice taunts off then it’s all good :tup:
Edit: Okay so can anyone tell me why D DF D DF F doesn’t work for Super/Ultra sometimes? I was checking the inputs in training mode and sure enough this is what it says:

Yeah, i played against gief and taunted my ass off, and did my regular super twice i think instead of my super taunt. Got hit by headbutt twice and had to run like a motherfather. Didn’t poke nearly enough, if at all. My play was overall bad. I also got zoned out once again by a decent ryu. However i only caught the end of the match, Sanford beat some blanka really bad with Dan. Wish that got streamed.
You need to do it faster if you’re using the shortcut for some strange reason.
