To whomever’s Dan I saw a video of that taught me that the knee of justice on hit in the corner can be combo’d into an EX KRK; you are my favorite person. Forever.
Not sure if it’s the kind of recognisition we want 
It’s common knowledge and not really that much a big deal since you only get half of the EX KRK 
Now if they were to change it so both hits landed then it’d be awesome.
BTW there’s a thread on juggling in the main SF4 forums, if you guys haven’t read it I’d suggest you do since it’s very enlightening :tup: Dan currently is one of the worst characters for juggling it seems (hoping that’ll change with SSF4)
Dan’s not so bad when it comes to juggling.
We still get HK Danku off trades for no meter. That’s better than what half the cast can do and has saved me in a lot of trade-heavy matchups online. In this one match versus a jump-in happy Gief, I traded Koryuken into Danku 5 times. If I couldn’t trade into Danku, he would have had a crazy lifelead. D:
Yeah, you have to be on the ball for those, I’m too slow to notice it most of the time
EX Kouryuken, make both hits juggle dammit! Make EX Dankuu juggle on all 3 hits for both grounded and air versions. And please please give an Ultra that can juggle 
Really weird how little and awkward our juggles are then they throw us nj.MP, it’s better than nothing I suppose but seems pretty random. Could have at least given it “float knockdown” rather than reset, maybe we’d be able to do some cool things after that
Hmm. I wrote a couple pages of stuff on properly applying wakeup pressure for each matchup.
Should I make a new thread for that or just toss it in Matchup and Strategies?
I mean, wakeup pressure is pretty much all of Dan’s game from my experience, to the point where it probably deserves it’s own thread (The current one’s are pretty poorly kept. The original posts are full of incorrect information. [Though, they likely haven’t been altered since the console launch.])
I’d go ahead and make a thread.
I hunger for more Dan knowledge.
In other news, Dan’s new Alt costume in SSFIV is a traditional Muay Thai outfit.
Blanka gets Dan’s hand-me-downs if you look closely.

Man I hope we get that new Ultra video soon, I’m really interested in quite a few characters’ new Ultras, especially Dan’s and Sakura’s. Can’t stress the importance of at least one Ultra having Juggle Potential
Just noticed the character select screen and it has the place holders filled out, haven’t looked in the SSF4 thread yet but I bet it’s full of people enlarging it and such
Well. They removed three of the character selection boxes. The placeholders haven’t been filled out, but removed.
Also, that’s not Dan doing his Ultra. Just a dynamic screenie.
Yeah kinda sneaky of them, not a good sign but hopefully not a sign of things to come :lol:

Think I’ll still be sticking with my standard purple gi with Dan, might sport the hula outfit every now and then
I’m going to guess that the jungle Dan outfit has to do with his past in some way. He did meet Blanka in Brazil at some point before Blanka rediscovered his mother and became re-civilized and all that, right? Given that Blanka’s alternate outfit seems to be Dan’s pink gi, I’d guess that their two outfits are homages to each other, and possibly whatever incident brought them together in the first place.
Saikyo Blanka is pretty cool, it’d be pretty funny if Sakura has a Saikyo uniform as her 3rd as well, nothing as dull as a plain gi but they could probably come up with something pink
I think Sakura’s third outfit will probably be some casual wear, as I was hoping for Dan but Amazon Dan is completely not what I expected lol
