haha, thats just Mantis (I think?). Kenny IS a real black guy, he used to come by Jzees all the time and suck up a storm… that guy couldnt play worth shit, but he always talked shit… hah he was a funny as fuck guy and we all had a liking to him. too bad he died tho… apparently he owed some guys money and they killed him. thats what i heard atleast.

i play mvc2 because it’s my love but i also play cvs2, third strike, and guilty gear. but i’m nowhere as good as i am at mvc2. i hear the competition is good in the filipines so i hope that i can be of a good challenge to you

snapback: i didnt play MvC2 in the phillipines cuz they didnt have a machine!! One thing I better let you know though, is everyone here uses Cable (well the good players atleast) because AHVB factor can change the outcome of a match. I don’t mean to be mean, but here “cheap” and “cheezy” are just excuses that are made because u can’t beat Cable.
Storm, Mags and Sent can all beat cable, sent having the most problems and storm and mags havin the best matches. Learn your way around cable, and you might as well learn to use him too, unless you’ve got some godly ass MvC2 skills. Just my 2 cents, but good ol nate summers is big time here.

i get your drift man… i did eventually cross path with a bunch of cable characters in my whole lifetime of playing MVC2, its just that most of em use “run away” or “turtle” tactics that really isnt my sort of game ( it just takes out the fun in playing the game for me ) but i guess there’s a first time for everything and this would be my chance to get some training against the enigmatic nate summers…

umm places to play in richmond i guess are rush on number 3 road (its pretty hurting there, $1 a game last time i checked, controls were perfect tho) and E spot probably has MvC2 but like Redtide said, I think it’s busted.
The best place to play is usually at my house or my friends house since we have perfect sticks and unlimited competition.

I have a dreamcast at my house, and my friend has a dreamcast at his house too.
We have 3 arcade sticks (2 jap style, 1 american style) between the two of us, and we usually play after school or during lunch or during our spares… so yea, dreamcast is the shit, what can i say?
I’m from Richmond originally, so I know where everything is, but I live in North Vancouver unfortunatley which is north of van, which is north of richmond. Pretty close to burnaby.
Keep me posted on your results for MvC2 if ur beating down the BC players or if they’re beating you…
