i played some cvs2 players here too, is it just me or is vancouver cvs2 action WEAK? that dood from ontario was BEASTING us with low technical high gameplay bullcrap :mad:

Haha, I went down to the UBC arcade today, it was kinda cool. I realized something about the marvel cab though. Not only is the damage on fag mode, but the time is also shortened. I managed to time out on the machine (hard to believe) a couple of times and realized how short the time was.
Damn, I didn’t realize how scrubby some of the cable players are there (Mine included most of the time :)) Freaking ground HVB’s and they wonder why they lose…
Tao racked up like 21 wins against me and other random scrubs. It was funny, people were coming out of the woodwork to go and play Tao. The freaking high damage was sick. I lost my IM in like two seconds when I called him as an assist from full life!
The first game we played, he used roll, servebot and tronne. Servebot died like a little bitch to one Sentinel rocket punch when I called him 
I finally managed to take a game off him when he switched up to Mag/Storm/Sent-projectile. Apparently one his buttons came off when we were playing. We played one more time after that, and he kicked my ass with Spiral/Sent/Capcom. Stupid swords, he killed my Sent in the corner with the Duc Do guard break when he had like 75 percent health life too to kick me off the machine. :lol:

MvC2 is still solid at Tony’s house, everyday at lunch/spare theres lots of games to be played and on fridays, we play longer as well… however the parental unit comes home around 6ish or something like that, and yea the gaming starts again at my house after my parents go to sleep. (the only reason is so i can blaze)
Does anyone still play MvC2 out there? I’m extending an invitation for you guys to play MvC2 at my house as long as I dont have homework or work…

Well, I went to the UBC arcade again today at 4:30, played some guys named Justin and Nelson (at first I thought Nelson was Tao, since they’re about the same height/weight, and Nelson was using Spidey), who both seemed to be good players… also, I saw Tao’s 21 wins on the #1 spot in the high scores. So I was like wtf? That’s insane. And the damn cabinets there are busted (both of 'em)… lk is screwed on P1 side, and fp is screwed on P2 side (though they kinda fixed fp with some tape). The high damage setting is killer for my S/D, since Strider dies in one combo.
Tao, if you ever see a brown guy using Strider/AAA/Doom, then that’s me. That’s my main team, even if it does need a lot of work. Other teams are Mags/Sent/Psy, Mags/Cable/Psy, and IM/Cable/Psy. I’m usually there between 11-4 between classes… too bad I missed your ownage today tho. And you’re in first-year at UBC too then?
Spider_Sting, I don’t know you, but if you’re telling me that people can actually play MvC2 FREE then I’m all for it. Damage setting 4 is not so good on the pockets over at UBC… but I dunno if you’d be cool with having someone over that you don’t know, so uh…

haha… I doubt you’re a scrub SS. I’ve still gotta get used to them arcade sticks, though I think I got the hang of em now. And university just piles on the work, so I’m usually too busy to do anything during the week besides stop by at the UBC arcade between classes… Fridays and Saturdays are good for me though. I’d just need directions and stuff… like street name, number, landmarks, etc.
