I agree with Tao. Console is the best idea… I might host an invitational when I move cuz my location will be more central…

The only thing is it would be an INVITATIONAL so brining outsiders or JZs people who I wouldn’t WELCOME into my house is COMPLETLEY out of the question, but could damage the scene since just because they aren’t welcome doesn’t make them non-strong players.

Tao will also be invited but banned from entering Marvel singles so we can crown a new champion. Practice hard boys, the fight is now for first, not second. :lol:

Allan C. is a good player in terms of gameplay, but is consitently not a force to be reckoned with. His diversity is also low as the last 2 years I’ve played with him he’s been using Santhrax with the same tactics. That aside I enjoy chillin with him, but would certainly not choose him to be on a team with me and the MIGHTY Stormboy.

I highly doubt though that Mark and Patrick are even if he can beat Jae and Parniel 4-1. Jae and Patrick are about the same in terms of gameplay and I’ve witnessed recently (2-3 weeks ago?) Mark beat Jae with Mag/Strider/Doom. Zenpuken can also vouch for this.

Tao – between us we have over 5 dreamcasts and HELLA arcade sticks… The only thing is we would need another TV, but even if we only had 1 TV hosting a tourney at your house would be bomb… Even if its casual matches, I’m down for that too… it seems like everyone has accepted the fact that you’re too good to beat…

Hey. I’ll be coming down to Vancouver for the weekend of the 20th-22nd and want to play against some real comp. I’ll play any game (except CvS2). I suck at 3S and marvel right now but I don’t care if I get beasted on or whatever at JZs. I just want to play against any human comp there…

lol i know allan isn’t really what someone wants on a team tourney cuz he’s HELLA inconsistent… but uhhh, lol like ponti said, he’s the only other “good” player unlisted

but when i say mark = patrick, i’m talking about the fact that mark cannot play against runaway tactics… which is why he owns jay… msp isn’t really considered a GREAT team against striderdoom… and i doubt jay really took him seriously. but i do think mark is better than jay

however, patrick AND parniel both beat jay at the last JZ marvel tourney. parniel has a hella shitty style of play and might be able to beat patrick sometimes, but he has playing style weaknesses that i’ve seen mark just DESTROY.

however, blackheart is a fucking BITCH to kill which is why mark, who only uses raw skill to beat his opponents, can’t handle a runaway storm/blackheart.

he can take out sentinels, cables, magnetos, just not really runaway guys like cheapass blackheart. hell 2 months ago i lost to patrick 1/3 games which hella pissed me off.

lol but yeah, mark can only trade with patrick, i’m sure of this. i think he got better now though so yeah…

lol tourney at my house is bombsauce. we don’t have like 20 players so 1 tv is ALL we need. that way, we don’t get distracted too… only thing is, we can’t be too loud. but we can just like keep ourselves quiet, it won’t be impossible

and if you guys are wondering about alex, he’s just like mark. he has problems beating the cheapass runaway styles but he’s still a monster. and easily stilll second best in BC. but alex lost ALL insentive to play after he won the japanese national marvel tourney hahahaha so yeah…

if you guys see him, ask him if he wants to enter, but he doesn’t really like team tournies. he’s more into winning himself

i’ve got koosta and alvin as a definite yes but i dunno if alvin wants to come all the way down to richmond… HOWEVER, gumby’s still hella good so why not consider him???

Tao – yea it’ll be amazingly hard to get everyone out to Richmond for a team tourney or even just a tourney, but the fact of the matter is… I’m sure you would get atleast 10 people to come ANYWAYS…

So my recomendation is - HOST one this summer sometime this month PLEASE. I can promote and do whatever, that’s not a problem, but we need a date to work with…

No, I would not be interested in giving them rides…

I don’t pass through Burnaby on the way to Richmond. I go through East Van, and I ** DO ** drive right beside Allan’s house when I drive to Richmond though, so he would be elligible for a ride.

I also pass right by Superluu’s house, he doesn’t live too far from Allan either. So he gets a ride if needed.

Everyone else gets peaced the fuck out, they can take public transit if they want to show up to this tourney.

i don’t mind giving them rides, they just have to sign a waiver form that i’m not responsible if they get mangled, impaled, decapitated or anything like that during the ride, and i’m good.
