anyways, alvin, i suggest you think about going to evo. it is very expensive and might fuck up your summer schedule and potentially damage your future… that is IF you don’t plan ahead. you have about 2-3 weeks notice so dont’ leave everything for the last minunte. bring at least $300 and you’ll be set. if you plan your scheduel ahead NOW, you’ll definitely be able to pull things together.
in preparation, if you’re going that is. me and mark will probably be your best shot at success. we’ll make sure you play good chuns, yuns, and uriens don’t forget that mark’s ken is still hella good. since those will be your primary challenges… dudleys you prolly wont’ see much of but i’m sure miguel and you will play hella anyways.

anyways, navid, jap sticks aren’t too bad. the ONLY big shitty thing is how they move around. but ALL console joysticks move around. that’s something that’s REALLY hard to adapt to. the actual shit shouldn’t be too bad. chris F’s joystick is the ideal transfer from american marvel style to jap sticks. it’s not as bad as the green thing IMO strictly and i mean STRICTLY as a marvel player.
no… its not because it moves around… its because of the whole goddamn joystick. I even set it up on a stool, to make it from not moving around… but still, my execution was WAY off. Jap Joysticks SUCK for me.
