Ah well I retracted my money post, but Thursday I’ll be there, I’ve been there almost every day practicing cause I realize how bad I sucked in Seattle.
What’s the name of the UBC player who uses K Chun-Morrigan/Cammy and also uses Yun with roll cancels, he was at JZ yesterday. That guy is actually really good. With K groove. He just told me that I didn’t know how to get out of the traps but he had better foot games than most players here. I think he was right on some of them but he had like 11 wins when i left. I guess JJJ showed up then…
C or A? I’m biased towards C cause I think the air block is really powerful. I like the “Alpha 2” quick rolls from A, but I hate blowing customs, having random shit happen in the middle, etc. On console I’d use A, but not at JZ and not at a foreign arcade. Also, I abuse Alpha Counters way too much and I couldn’t give that up.
Depends on who you think your best characters are. If you can land supers a lot, C is good. If you’re better off reacting with the button press, A is better for you.

while i agree, i doubt i can really beat mazduk on the DC, i do still feel performance on a standing up american cabinet will be a dramatic in it’s increase. while i don’t think i suck as bad on jap sticks as maz does on american ones, the lack of heat and prolonged sun exposure really fucked me over.
maz, if you agree to a rematch, have it at johnny zee’s if you want to return the favour i gave to you. however, a rematch on the DC will once again be accepted.
however, if it’s on the DC, i’ll have to take it when i get back from edmonton. necro forces me to play third strike. not some adapted marvel without helpers or highjumps.

anyways, i’m gonna start my mvc2 practice. holy fuck, this recent loss at third strike has opened my eyes. practice is essential to winning. i can feel a significant decrease in my reaction speed. patrick was rushing me down with the shit that i taught him which should be just instinctive in blocking. third strike i get caught with random universal overheads and throws where i counter fractions of seconds late… cvs2, people roll right in front of me and i don’t throw… this shit is getting gay. especially when marvel demands the fastest hand eye coordinated movements.
someone come to JZ tuesday afternoon so i can start playing marvel again. fuck this cvs2 and third strike bullshit that just forces me to play inside the box. gotta get back to my roots. improve at marvel and improve at all other games.
