I’m leaning towards going now, and a road trip does sounds fun.

Reasons:

  1. I’ve never been on an extended road trip without family.
  2. Driving long distances for videogames is all too valid a reason
  3. Girlfriend will be out of the country so no conflicts with a weekend of videogames vs. a weekend of “quality time”
  4. Edmonton seems to be a huge source of conflict amongst SRK flamers, and I wanna see the faces of the people behind the handles.

If I drive, i assume LTB is coming?
so there will be two more spaces available, maybe ron will go to this one?
and somebody’s gotta help out with driving, (im probably gonna take my sisters pathfinder) (it’s manual transmission so somebody who can drive stick?)

we’re gonna need housing, and people gotta pitch in for gas

remember this is not DEFINITE but I think it would be fun. you know a bunch of strapping young lads in a confined space for many hours, probably all sweaty from the heat of the praries.

if he’s mid-screen, then c. roundhouse will probably not hit. not too sure though. we can give it a try sometime. but in the corner, that’s a guaranteed hit. if you’re midscreen and you feel that they’re gonna jump away after quickstanding, you can try using twds + forward to tag them. it’s pretty fast, and has the most range of her high kicks.

oh yeah, and as far as driving a stick goes, i know the basic jist of it, but i haven’t learned yet. what you need to do is write an article teaching me. remember, highway driving is VERY simple without needing to shift gears much. so the only difficult part will be shifting up, but that isn’t very hard if you’re not like turning and all that crap… but of course, if you don’t trust me with it, it’s completely understandable. but i learned how to drive the first time i tried, when i stole my dad’s car… i am also not lying hahaha, i just took it out one night and drove around for an hour in the save on foods parking lot, then for another two hours, visiting every friend i had that was awake at that time. and yes, there was also NO one in the car… so i would like to think of myself as a relatively fast learner… AND… remember, if a girl can drive a stick, a guy DEFINITELY can too… cuz we all know girls are stupid!

GUMBY: i wanna play a race to 10 like we did with me and miguel. that gives me room to adapt to you… and if i can’t adapt to you, you’ll just kick my ass which is much better than having a best out of like 5 match where shit’s super close etc… $10 sounds good, we can play with the left over tokens i have

If we go, what do you think about staying for the WHOLE weekend as in friday we get down there and play some games and just hang around west edmonton mall and, saturday for the tourney (and the drinking after), and sunday we leave?

this is all providing someone will shelter our bums for 2 nights

but yeah, yeah that sounds good. remember, it’s like a 12 hour drive though, so if we leave at like 7 AM on saturday, we’ll get there like… at 7 PM… we should i think leave well i dunno on sunday… prolly in the morning… but west edmonton mall is pretty fucking tight and i wouldn’t mind trying to pick up some girls… but places to do shit with them will be limited as we will be a MASSIVE sausage fest also… so yeah, prolly leave sunday morning… depending on when we get up. and come back by sunday night. last seattle tourney, we left there at like 1:30 AM and then the 3 hour drive home ended me in driving like miguel and chris F and jay ALL HOME… from surrey to downtown and i got home like… at 6:30 AM fuck… that shit was hella gay. so it will be best to like… leave as early as possible then, so that way, the buses will still be running when we get back and people can actually bus it home… last time i’m sure they were willing had we come home early, but at 4 in the morning, there’s no way of getting around.

but yeah, we should leave early on friday so we’ll have time to get things done on saturday
