paul: lol yeah man, i hella didn’t wanna lose sooo bad in the last ggxx tourney, so i gave you everything i had lol in a TOTALLY non sexual way but yeah, great matches, i know you’ll be really good at third strike too cuz i’ve played you in alpha and you’re definitely good at street fighters. you shouldn’t give up marvel, it’s HONESTLY like the simplist game to improve at. no joke. in like two weeks, you’ll be able to do unfly combos, infinites, insane rush down… like totally things you might at first never think you’ll be able to do. (i never thought i could do the rom magneto infinite). whereas playing third strike for two weeks, the noticable improvement might not be quite as obvious.

I need to stop fucking up my kara-grab… (everytime you rolled into a quick get up, i tried a kara-grab, but i fucking missed! wtf!.. i never miss THAT much)… haha and oh my gosh… you got so lucky… i missed my super TWICE haha that cost me the match both times.
Navid:
you don’t need to kara-karakusa all the damn time, man. that makes it obvious. if you’re gonna kara, go for a fake out every so often. hit s. short to pretend you’re gonna kara, then immediately go for c. roundhouse to nail your opponent if they jump then dash in or do twds + roundhouse (but hold roundhouse) to get in and then set up a karakusa.
you can also (after a knockdown) whiff a s. strong then right before they get up, dash back then kara-karakusa.
