this thread is entertaining.
Because without an 8-Way, how can we play Fighting games?
Won’t be able to Block Down.
Can’t Jump Back or Jump Forward.
Really, it is pretty impossible to play Fighting without 8-Way Directionals.
Can’t do Quarter Circles or Half Circles.
No more Shoryukens.
Only thing that would work is Charge Back, Charge Forward, Charge Up and Charge Down.
So like only thing do will be Sonic Boom and Flash Kick and jumping up.
Laugh.
And that is on a 4-Way.
Please die.
Did you not even read my explanation at all? Silly boy…
the amount of discussion relating to gates has increased like 100 fold since jan 2009.
here’s a good tip for you new guys wondering what kind of gate to buy…
don’t bother cause you’ll all quit this game after Evo anyway
I was like “lol octogate kool” before I ordered my stick. Now I really can’t tell the difference between them, I don’t think I throw far enough anymore. :xeye:
And I have another username under a 2007 account I think.
z0mg no moar noob, no
Lies.
Just when I think this thread can’t get any better
Now where’s my popcorn
i am surprised at both the amount of hate directed towards a simple terminology mixup ( 6 gate?) but also just in general. i honestly cannot believe that everyone KNOWS a square gate is the best thing. i am positive that plenty of people have trouble blocking things like overheads without jumping or not moving the stick quite enough. even if you dont have trouble, you really dont think it would be any easier at all having a small notch or angled catch for the mid blocks? how does it hurt ANYTHING? if i am to the point where i have to play on arcade machines in tournaments i will have other things to worry about.
Octogate has it’s uses. Octogate plus like 10 extra springs if you wanna use a JLF for marvel.
Yeah, 2008. :xeye:
Think my 07 was under lone wolf something.
Used to just browse for those sticks.
