Also, good job to Gootecks, shit was tough, but you did a good job, especially considering the resources you had etc. Despite the lag, tech issues, commentary issues, everything was tight, and it was a lot better than checking up results pages/getting notifications from people about the event.

If you guys keep doing more of these live feeds, it can only get better!

Amazing stuff, all of you! I’m in the eastern time zone and stayed awake for the whole thing, and it was more than worth it.

Combo was amazing, as was Valle clutching it out in the end and Ed Ma’s bag of tricks. EC also showed a lot, but wasn’t quite ready to handle the Guilty Gear rushdown it seemed. Hopefully this will be a learning experience for Evo. =)

Was Ken I trying to wakeup Messiah when he got hit by that jump-in combo at the end?

This was such a crazy day. Ken I and I were at Denjin for 16-17 hours, so beastly. To be at an arcade for that long and still be so hungry and have great matches at the end is amazing to say the least. The amount of skill there yesterday was too much.

First off, thanks to Ken I. No regrets man, we played our hardest. Be happy in that. :wgrin:

Valle/Peter, rep us well at SBO. I wish it was my team going, but if not us then I wanted it to be you guys all the way. Couldn’t have asked for a more exciting finals. Way to fuck up EC btw Peter! :lovin:

Art/Joe I wish we could have played some matches. Sorry I took off, I wasn’t really in the mood to play tbh. Your Sim is really beastly Art, no joke. Joe, I thought Keno had the eye of the tiger but you Ultra everything. Always looking for it, it’s so sick. We talk a lot of shit but in the end, you guys brought it and repped EC well.

To Ryan/all the announcers/the tech people/media all I can say is WOW. I’ve never seen such an amazing setup for a U.S tournament outside of EVO. Maybe I need to travel more these days, haha. Ryan thanks for the encouragement near the end. It helped me a lot. BTW, those pictures are hot stuff. I look so sad. :sad:

Too many amazing matches, you guys will have to wait to see them. I hope they all get out.

Dae, Busta, Magnus, Haunts, Christian, Jack, Watts (why you never root for me!), SIN, Ricky, Buk, UTJ(you will have a sick Sim soon for sure), SHGL, MIKE BOSS, Keno, fuck too many people, so many good moments. This was the tournament to be at.

Shoutouts to Derek and my gf for giving me a place to rest my head other then the cabinet. LOL.

tourney had a great ending, everyone who lasted long enough to stick around had an amazing time im sure. nice to see all the old faces and meet some of the new. good matches everyone and hope everyone keeps leveling up. hate losing to stuff ive never seen before :frowning: but thats obviously my own fault for not getting out to the arcade more often. anyways, congrats to the winners and hope you do well in japan!

Such an amazing tournament to be at. Major props to all the people that made that live stream possible, such a professional quality made it amazing for all the people who couldn’t make it.

Such a dope tournament, even after I left, I was able to make it back home (1 hour later) for the losers and grand finals on the stream, and I was still cheering like I was in the arcade. This one is gonna be a tournament talked about for a long time.

unless you realize how tough the competition is when you have to play ken i / edma, and then sin / watson, then please don’t talk shit. i was cold the entire tournament because utj ocv’d the other two teams for us. no excuses, though. i played my hardest at that moment.

shouts to everyone we played today and everyone for setting all the shit up. dae, busta, ed, ken i, valle, combo, etc. so many people to list for keeping the atmosphere hype.

special shout outs goes to UTJ, who held it down for our team. there is a reason why i told you to come to these things, and i hope that last night proved to be the answer on why you need to play more and get better. you really have the potential to be the best sim on the west coast.
