Firstly, to Edma and Ken I. I wish us four could all go and represent, unfortunately only two could go. It was really exciting to say the least, thank you guys for the epic matches.
Art and Joe: You fools came out here and really proved your point. You guys went through everyone here proving that you weren’t just talk and that the EC is definitely a threat. GOOD SHIT.
Valle: took long enough for the sleeping dragon to wake up, but you definitely did it in the nick of time. Let’s do it again in Japan!
To the usual suspects, aka everyone else: Good games all around. Not only the ones I played in, but also the ones I got to see (Mike Ross vs. Haunts anyone?). This tournament definitely had people rising to the occassion with all the pressure that was in the air.
This tournament ran surprisingly long, I’m glad everyone stayed til the end. The passion that exuded from the players, spectators, journalists and photographers (getyourtournament.com), and media (ufragtv.com) is really what sf4 should be all about.
Thanks everyone for the support and props. I hope we as a whole continually get better from this point moving forward, since the videos will be out and people can dissect what happened.
