Complaining about aesthetics is horribad, how can people throw fireballs, it is ridiculous, etc.
Balance is better in sfiv than in third strike, why is yun chun so good and like hugo sean q etc. so bad.

One thing that gets me is how you can clearly see Ryu’s foot touch the guy and it still doesn’t hit, you have to his with Ryu’s knee and shit.
Character balance isn’t a problem, if you’re ganna put the effort, then you’re ganna be good.
They need to work on EX moves, Akuma can do EX flip but the follow up moves that come out don’t make a difference?!?! That’s fucked up.:tdown:
And I don’t like how some FA’s are good and some other’s aren’t, Parry beats it because you can use what ever attack you want but FA’s just pisses about and gives Zang an arm 10 meters’ long and Viper TURNS yet she only goes 2 centimetre in front of her?! My same reason, I love both games I just like 3s more. No one around here though is playing 3s so I am just playing SF4 more.
saying you guys dont like the fact that some chars have better FA’s makes no sense. If they all had great FA’s they wouldnt be as balanced. Ryu and Sagat Viper have shit as FA’s and still dominating now imagine if they have FA’s as good as Feilong or El fuerte
Bigbox was the only place I saw people playing SF4. Everywhere else I went, 3S and Guilty Gear were packed.
The most satisfying part of my trip to Japan was being in a room where we were all playing 3S, and Justin Wong, Marn, Floe, and Alex Valle were all sitting alone on the SF4 cabinets, playing each other… all night.

SF4 just isn’t for me. The music, the mechanics, the SRKs. I like having priority over someone when i have wakeup. I don’t like people having the option of mashing out DPs.

Besides, considering that there are only 15 characters to 3S’s 20, I can safely assume that the gap between the lowest tier character and the highest tier character is going to be a lot closer.
You are not ok with rufus being super athletic and quick guy. You are ok with ryu throwing fireballs, bison flying through the air, sagat throwing firebals, etc.
Well, third strikes gap is really, really large. SFIV is closer.
I mistook your complaint about fa to be a complaint about balance, it is a weird complain anyways, like why isn’t everyone’s low forward as good as ryus low forward or something. Characters are just different.
ive always wanted to play 3s but never got to, i mean i played it 3 times but. wasnt able to get the ps2 or xbox verson of it til AFTER i bought sf4. ide say my dic is pretty mean and im confident with my skills in sf4. but something about 3s appealed to me. so i got it, and it just feels like a solid game way more fun game. i just think that sf4 lost a little flare, i think its way more americanized now or something. just the overall aesthetics of things. 3s is unique. you needed a little more cunning an precision to play it. i could watch kuroda, hayao, or j play all day. like i seriously beleive that sf4 has plateaued definitely. the game encourages defense, which isnt a problem, but its not my cup of tea.
sf4 desperately needs an update with whatever to keep my interest.
otherwise me playing 3s will be like trying to become a pro boxer at 30…
