That’s like saying ‘Marvel takes more skill than 3s because blocking Magneto is hard.’
Please get a new argument?
It took effort to be good with 3s chun? You’re shitting me right? She’s got more braindead play than Balrog or Sagat. Poke all day, even whiff them, okay, got a super, hit confirm it off of my long, quick, gdlk pokes. Repeat.
CHUN SO HARD
Please, your game is as braindead as any other. Genei Jin is just learning a way to set up into it and then doing the same combo, because it makes it training mode. Literally. You don’t have to reset your opponent or worry about damage scaling, and even after GJ you can juggle them and build up 2/3s of a super bar again so that you can do it off of a divekick-1-2-3-GJ.
God, how do you think of all this stuff mid match?
Custom combos take skill to use correctly, lawl. Yeah, I guess if we’re talking like Valle CC or Keeper-Jin (which you almost never see, because it’s hard. why not go for the easier route in a match?) and even then you just learn that shit via training mode and once you hit your GJ in a combo, it’s all muscle memory.
It’s like saying “Infinites are hard because you have to constantly press buttons.” Because that’s essentially what you just said.
Balrog ATLEAST has to work for victory against some characters, Chun and Yun are the only competition for eachother in that game.
Raeli: I’m not sure whether you’re purposely being a troll or not. First of all, why should you care whether 3s is in Evo or not? If you believe not many people care about 3s anymore, why are you here posting? RIght now the people who like 3s have the minority view. It seems you’re here just to start a war? Like I said, I don’t even play 3s anymore.
Watch any 3s match, and look how active the match is. Watch SF IV, watch how much turtling there is.
And you said Balrog has to work…really? I mean really? Like against Sagat perhaps?
Watch gootecks vs LI Joe. All he does is sit back, focus fireballs until time is almost over…is that work? Sitting back, because you’re not sure what to do, and don’t want to attack?
I don’t care that you’re lying to me Raeli. I care that you’re lying to yourself.
Step 1:
I see a lot of turtling, not much activity…
Step 2:
I don’t really see any turtling at all. I see RTSD.
Seems like I’ve debunked your myth again. And on top of that, something you said earlier was that “SFIV favors matchups more than any game you’ve ever played.”
ST with ‘unwinnable’ matchups says Hi, tells you to shut up, and challenges you to call it garbage, as to prove you have no real sound judgement to whether or not a FG is any good.
I was just wondering - with all the shit talking you’re doing, are you actually good at the game you play? Or are you just some random scrub who hates 3s?
The turtling is very obvious. The definition of turtling is playing not to lose, waiting until your opponent makes a mistake and then capatilizing on it. That’s all Kuroda does. He barely makes any offense for himself, he instead waits for Ricky O and Justin to fuck up. Watch how he beats Ricky- he just blocks his offense, holding back, until Ricky does a sweep where he blocks and punishes with super. Sure sounds like a turtle playstyle to me.
yea i would like 3s to still be an EVO event, but most the people that played 3s has moved to SF4, and people that got into SF4 wont start playing 3s. they don’t owe that game so much as to cost them revenue business wise. holding a side tournament is just as viable, i remember EVO2k7 had a pretty hype ass GGAC side tourney.
it does dissapoint that 3s gets treated like garbage even though it kept the franchise afloat long enough for capcom to finally decide they were gonna actually go through with making SF4.
Yeah, of course that would have happened. It’s [insert game], and it’s SRK. No one is gonna change the other person’s mind, so you might as well have a little fun in the thread. :wonder:
