i would not drop one for the other or say one is better then the other.
so, what brilliant posting have you done for SRK, Einstein? there is a huge percentage of idiots in general, so of course you will get a good share of them here on a very popular gaming site. It’s not the idiots that bother me so much, but rather when the idiots talk shit or talking about something in general they have no fucking clue about. I know 3S like the back of my hand and reading so many replies over the years of how utterly false and ridiculously these comments about 3S have been…wow…it just irks me, but everyone needs to find out for themselves.
so bringing that to the point of this thread, I suppose 3S is the “cool” thing now to talk highly of and SFIV is the the game to talk about how lame it is.
I do not like SF IV, but I don’t like it in the same way I don’t like SF2 and many other fighting games anymore. It bores me to death. 3S just gives me everything I need in a fighting game while still having to use your brain and use it well. I like that. SF IV doesn’t “suck” and it certainly is NOT bad, but it just doesn’t offer me anything. to many new gamers and novice gamers, it offers a lot to them. even some vets like it and there is some technical aspects to the game.
the bottom line, play with what you have fun with. If you really truly enjoy 3S, stick it out until you become good to compete, and have plenty of patience in doing it, same with SFIV or any other game . the problem is, a lot of people (pretty much almost everyone it seems) just wants to win, and 3S is a long and narrow road with it taking many years to really understand how to walk its path to the other side. some may never truly understand 3S.
I am glad for one that 3S is getting a lot of recognition now days, but no need to troll hatred on other games to get that accomplished. It took me a while to learn that, too. Back in the day all I did was support 3S and constantly struggle to fight off the many haters and the false info spread throughout the net, that I would fall in the same troll traps, and they are hard to climb out of.
